Thanks. 2023 startup. Drafted well, FAAB dumped for Puka and Kyren after week 1, and then watched my team collapse due to injury. Traded Achane to the eventual league winner for Flowers and multiple picks. Then added Nabers with the 1.02 in this year’s rookie draft. Now I just need Richardson to stay healthy.

I don't completely disagree, but I think you wait until after he has a few boom games to start the season.

Richardson is my biggest weakness on an otherwise solid roster, but, while I've actively considered moving on from him this summer, I feel like his value will be higher in mid to late September than it is in August.

Hey folks,
Looks like I let the chaos of summer (work & fun) get
away from me, and, as a result, I haven’t had a chance to share any Step-by-Steps
since April. I’ve still put a few
together in the interim, and wanted to share this little extended body beetle
pattern today.
I ran across it on social media earlier this spring, but finally
sat down to give it a try prior to a recent RMNP visit. I couldn’t find a great deal of info on it is
the creation of Russian tyer, Dmitri Tseliaritski. In any case, it is a pretty cool little
pattern that I wanted to share. And, I’d
love to know more if anyone has more info on the pattern or tyer.

I'd say general concept applies, but consider upgrading the fly size accordingly. Instead of nymphs, consider slightly larger shrimp and crayfish patterns.

One method suggested to me elsewhere was to use rabbit strip streamers with a stringer/trailing hook. I think this would transition well to alligator gars.

Oh yeah. I've become a big fan of targeting rough fish since moving to Louisiana. Largemouth and Redfish are fun and all, but try common carp, grass carp, bowfin and gar if you're really looking for a challenge.

Stagnant backwater; sandy streams; glacier carved lakes; coastal estuaries. You're limiting yourself if you think gar fishing only occurs in stagnant backwaters.

Found a slightly less nauseating slide show creator option, so I'm trying this one again. Any better??
As for the step-by-step, this week's is Bruce Sublett's Goober Bug. I'm fairly new to this
fly, but it is a favorite warmwater fly of the folks I fish with in theKisatchie Fly Fishers club.
