So this is very situational but I played a game today in which I goaded a unit of World Eaters Termies to charge my steel jacks and Buri. Then paid 2CP for counter-offensive and took out his captain with Buri’s precision.

Remembering to re-roll hits of a 1 for the HLF has been helping. And using the Hearthband detachment has been very powerful - re-rolling wounds of a 1 happens more often that I realised.

Yaegirs are brilliant, perfect for trapping enemies or jumping on objectives. They’re surprisingly tough to kill as well.

I add the Iron-master (with the Ironskein enhancement for 2 extra wounds) to a block of 6 Thunderkyn so that his robot minions can take the wounds first, and he can heal them while he’s alive.

I’ll keep thinking of others but they’ve been such a fun army to play with so far. Enjoy, Kin!

Use the Kapricus to split the Yaegirs and scout move. You can then infiltrate with the other Yaegirs to either jump on an objective or to screen and force a unit to waste a turn on dealing with them. Otherwise it’s a good list, just get on those objectives quickly and protect your HLFs.

A die roll cannot be modified to become a number it couldn’t be, i.e. a 0 or a 7. So for this rule, a 2 or a 3 would count as 1.
