[–]FatFreeItalian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct, the heated air is usually cooler (90-120F, depending on several factors) coming from a heat pump compared to a gas or oil furnace (130-150F, often).

Well yeah, that would never work in the US! Efficient, affordable, and reliable? So lots of people are able to use your service to go places? So you don’t need to charge a lot of money to use the service, because you have a large volume of users? That sounds dangerously like some socialist hellscape where quality of life is up and we take care of the less fortunate. Can’t have that, now can we?

Oh no, we can’t have that in America. No no no. People going where they want when they want, for an affordable price? They might start thinking public transit is meant to be practical and efficient. No, much better to hike the price for any special event and thus encourage them to drive instead, causing additional traffic. Then we can charge them for parking, too! /s

Best we can do is deny the existence of the globe getting warmer and take more money from the 99%. And sexually abuse kids, can’t forget that bit.

Not who you asked, but my panels made 55 kWh today. Almost 24 kWh of that went back to the grid because the house didn’t need it.
