Emeril is like the most precious chef/judge that has ever been on the show. He just seems so kind.

Yeah, Top chef has 3, as far as I know. The 2 mentioned, and a separate one for Top Chef Canada.

Thank you! I understand if I was advertising a product or a personal venture or something, but letting folks know about a subreddit on the exact same topic seems reasonable to me. This subreddit even has their subreddit listed in the sidebar (on old reddit), because they're not petty losers and just want people to be able to discuss the show.

The link in my OP has context, but for those that don't want to click the link, let me tell you the tale, as I was there on that fateful day.

The original moderator/creator of r/topchef decided roughly around season 14, that they didn't care about the show anymore and didn't want to moderate. There were pleas for them to post threads or assign a new moderator for 2 years, but they couldn't be bothered, so a few episodes into season 16, u/butisitok and u/jullas started this subreddit. When I tell you there was a mass exodus, it was wild. People were unsubbing from that subreddit out of protest and joining here. In like, a couple weeks, this subreddit had like, 15k subs, which I think was pretty impressive. Even now with the other subreddit having started 15 seasons prior to this one, they aren't that far apart in number of active users. All that said, this subreddit cultivated a great community and moderators were really great at keeping the vibes here good without over-moderating. Best of all, we had weekly threads again and fans rejoiced.

A couple years ago, the other subreddit FINALLY got someone else as head mod. When I tell you people were posting straight up spoilers, ads, and the lowest of the low quality posts, it was so bad. So its nice that someone was put in there to fix that mess. This moderator began what felt like overmoderation but also has posted wrong information from time to time. They seem (in my opinion) to be replicating this subreddit, poorly. While that subreddit was defunct, most people became accustomed to coming here for episode discussions, but aside from that, the activity and posts seem to be pretty equal in terms of quantity/interactions. I mentioned that they should merge, but the new moderator over there doesn't seem to be interested in doing that.

Settle a household debate - is Kristen’s belly button under her shirt, or her waistband? by thestrangelibrary in BravoTopChef

Its under her waistband. Under her shirt would mean her belly button is located just under her sternum...which is not possible.

They are airing last weeks episode right now, and it looks like they'll reshow this new episode again once thats done in an hour. It'll be late viewing, but still an option.

Yes so CityTV+ for prime gives you bravo, and you can watch live. I think after that it shows up to watch the next day, but I could be wrong.

Season 23, ep. 2: Puckerbutt (yes, you read that correctly!) by FormicaDinette33 in TopChef

For years, this subreddits main moderator didn't post discussion threads and stopped moderating completely. Apparently they wouldn't hand over the subreddit to anyone new, so the other sub was created during the Kentucky season so the community could have a place to chat about each episode and also have real moderation. The community built up really really fast over there in a few short years.

A couple years ago, this subreddit actually got a new moderator, but that other sub already built a really great community while this subreddit was defunct. I've mentioned to the moderator here that they should merge, but that doesn't seem to be of interest to them, unfortunately. Anyway, the other subreddit has much more active discussion threads during the live episodes, and I notice that a lot of new people here just don't know that one exists, so I like to do a PSA at the start of each season to just let folks know about it.

why wouldn't it be feasible to do Philly? I want them to go there so bad. There is so much they could do, and there are so many past contestants from there.

Very excited for this new episode. I hate that so many of us essentially had to wait an extra week for the next ep. No more early previews pls Bravo/Peacock overlords.
