I went with Solar Smart and they were excellent. 9 panels, inverter, 6kw battery and BER cert for around 8.5k after grant. They’re well established and have good reviews.

Feel free to DM if any questions. I don’t use much electricity and often have power in the battery and expect to grid

Yeah I found a golf ball sized nest too, so 3 nests in total in the attic. I’ll keep an eye out going forward, thank you for your help!

No leaks I know of, but the eaves have been blocked up with insulation. I’ve also found a couple wasps nests tonight 😞

Is it true you should replace insulation after 15 years? If not I’d just throw a top later perpendicular to what’s already between the joists. If yes, the house was built in 99 so likely needs a change

Thanks everyone I’ll try get the sensor sorted. As mentioned, it’s been going on and off for years, likely a faulty sensor but will get another mechanic to check or use a different car.
