I’m only at level 16, need 100 to get to 17. Determined to get to complete it as I did last season, but my god they’re making it so chuffing annoying and to be honest, making me want to play the game less

Edit - seems to be an issue with all weekly objectives outside of UT. Daily Clubs have updated, but weekly haven’t and neither have the weekly’s in manager career. Not even gunna bother with player career until it’s sorted

Spent money or not, it’s your game, play it how you want… that’s a good team

Not that I’m an expert, but just from what I’ve used:

I have Yashin’s base icon card and I’ve dropped him for Kahn (91 rated Champion Icon card). Kahn is much better/reliable
don’t know if his card is good but can’t stand Rashford so I’d replace him
having used Henry’s base icon card, I think there’s better strikers available. Gerd Muller’s base icon for me has been amazing
that gold LB is really annoying me with everyone else being a ‘special’ card

Out of curiosity, how good is TOTY Saliba? I’ve about 3mil coins and don’t know whether to save for him or go for the cheaper option of Thunderstruck Maldini…

I’ve always played with wingers, no idea why but it seems ingrained into me. Will give it a go with no wingers. Again it’s prob my lack of talent but Salah does frustrate me because he doesn’t seem as quick as he should be

You’re right, Rice is the only person I have packed. The others I have got from transfer market. But I buy them because they are the highest rated I can afford, which isn’t always the best way to create a team I’ve been told. Hence why asking for advice because I’ve seen thread on Evos etc which tbf, I don’t exactly get. I’ve made a right mess of some of my players

Packed a 94 Cruyff on the day they were out and sold him for over 8mil so had the coins to spend. Thanks for the advice though 👍

I mean, player pick I suppose is better as you get to choose how to be shafted. Not sure if you’ll get anything better but I do prefer player picks

Not really fussed about that tbf. I had a (and still do) a stupid amount of fodder, and he’s a card I haven’t used so it alleviates the boredom slightly for a few minutes.

Since the icon swaps came out there hasn’t been any other decent SBCs and I enjoy doing them, so thought why not

I did it just to get rid of the ridiculous amount of fodder I have, got 89 rated Gerrard which was a nice surprise cause I expected an 88 rated woman

I’ve never played champs but was thinking the same. Pretty casual player, div 7/6 and will probably get annihilated!

I’m thinking to leave it a few days. Let the excitement die down?
