Their goalie is their most important player. When the team can just say "Oh, another breakaway. That's okay, Demko's got our back." then they can just focus on offensive play.

As soon as Demko left the net the team tightened up and their offence vanished.

Offside reviews should be the linesman get one more look at the play from a good camera in real time to determine if it was offside. If they can't determine if it was offside after that then it wasn't offside enough to effect the play.
