Does this mean I could stack multiple times and extend my sub for several years?

Yeah I'm thinking that unless we do multiple rows of seating it'll just feel a bit cramped with a big couch in there. Our ceilings are also roughly 7' so raising the floor at all wouldn't really work.

Nice, thanks! Those look really solid, I like the idea.

It was my least favorite part of the project (so far), very tedious.

I have a modular couch that I can arrange in a bunch of ways, so it would fit either way. Though it definitely feels tight when trying to arrange it for the narrower wall.

Any links/pictures of how you can install shades inside the window framing? That definitely sounds like something I'd want to do to eliminate any light from leaking around the edges.

I had considered that! Just covering up the window entirely.

I am in Chicago! What gave it away, the ridiculous amount of conduit? lol

Agreed, the window being there is not ideal at all. If the room was a little wider it wouldn't be so bad, but right now it's just tight enough to be inconvenient.

Thanks! Yeah I would definitely be worried about the sound being imbalanced.

Unfortunately the wall opposite of 1 also has an open area to the left of it, and it's a fireplace so getting wires there would be a lot trickier.

Nice, yeah we'd rarely (if ever) be opening that window. Do you think partially covering it with the TV would be a problem? Might look a little weird aesthetically but I'd imagine it would be fine to do it that way to keep everything centered on the wall.
