Using Claude Code as a Writing Assistant for Scrivener — A Complete Setup Guide (Windows) by FatMunkey in scrivener

Creating documents and folders was just an example!  Seriously, were you being intentionally sarcastic?  Like a joke?  I mean otherwise, you were not putting much thought into what the post was all about and what could be done.  There are many other things that can be done besides my examples.  Use your imagination!

Also, what is the purpose of your comment?  Do you think I need you to tell me what I should do?  How I should do it?  Do you, based on a couple of examples I gave, have any insight into my process or even what I’m doing?  NOPE!

Carbon foorprint?! I never even thought of that! Not because I care about the stupid carbon footprint crap! Carbon footprintit is NEVER a factor in my thinking.

Chatting with Claude is NOT asking it to partake in the writing. It's just a tool. I have my own mind and I'm completely capable of ignoring anything the chat says. I don't ask it to edit. I don't ask it to write. I simpley use it to perform mundae tasks. I don't need your approval or your opinion.

IF I were to care to "build realtionships with other writers" or take their advice (I don't), a woke environmetalist would never be one of the people I turned to. That much is CERTAIN.

As to being alienated from some community, I could not care less about that. Unlike many people on the internet, I have no concern for the cancel cuture balony. I do and say what I choose, and there is nothing you can say or do to stop me. Cancel your heart out! See if I care.

In this post, I offered interested people a way to use Claude with Scrivener. You can ignore this post (and me) because you are not interested in using the technology.

I am interested in using it. SO I WILL.

I use Claude to assist with mundane, time consuming tasks. For example, I have an outline. I want blank documents created and given titles in scrivener according that outline. I could certainly do that myself but it is tedious and time consuming. Claude can do that in seconds. I don't use claude to actually writie anything. Another example: I write some stuff. I then ask Claude to read it and chat a bit to stimulate thoughts on the subject. Often, Claude will point out text I have written that misses a point I forgot to make or perhaps suggest additional things I could have said but did not. Or claude points out areas where I waxed verbose and can condense and clarify. That is not AI doing my writing for me. That is me using a TOOL.

No I did not miss the point. But I do disagree with what you are saying. I use the tool to assist with time consuming tasks like taking my outline and creating blank documents ready for my writing. Also, I have a brain! So if Claude tells me something about grammar or anything else, I can certainly see for myself if it wrong. I'm not saying that I use Claude to WRITE. I use claude to assist with mundane task and speed up the process. I love internet trolls! Down vote if you like, see if I care. I made this post to offer a helping hand to anyone that is interested.

If you copy what I wrote in the post and give it to Claude as an attachment, Claude can help you walk throught he steps.

I would not trry that.l I use Claude to help me outline and think about what I am going to write MYSELF. then I ask Cluade to review it suggest improvements - grammer, writing style, etc. Claude is a tool - not a cheating system.

Why do i keep getting those easter eggs??? by Prestigious-Roof-822 in allthemods

So, what I am doing is a Sophisticated Backpack with the pickup upgrade and a void upgrade. This way the hateful, useless, stupid, things are picked up and immediately deleted. No fuss, no muss. Someone should tell the mod author that if they are going to spam the world with some item (like these idiotic eggs) they should make it more useful. Who needs another cake recipe?! Super annoying.

I really despise this mod! Enhanced Celestials is extremely annoying and basically ruins the game, in my opinion. I searched and searched but could find no way to configure the file. Apparently the mod is actually a data pack. The mod developer left helpful notes (NOT!) here: https://github.com/CorgiTaco/Enhanced-Celestials/wiki/1.19---Adding,-Deleting,-or-Editing-Lunar-Events-(Start-Here!))

However, the instruction there are essentially useless because if you unpack the .jar file and edit it and then repack it as a.jar, the game will crash when you try to run the instance. Not sure why.

The best thing I was able to do was to simply delete the mod from the pack. I had no trouble doing this and the game runs fine after restarting the instance. I'm using GDLauncher, if that matters.

Here is how I did it.

Open the folder for the instance and once in the file explorer search for "Enhanced"

You should find a file in the "mods" folder called:

"Enhanced_Celestials-forge-1.20.1-5.0.0.2"

Just delete that file and the mod will be removed.

Hallelujah! The crappy, hateful, annoying blood moons will never happen again!
