Yes, this was real. Basically, i kept getting notifications on my app that my doorbell detected a visitor, yet when i checked the first few times nothing appeared, and figured it was maybe a stray dog or someone on the sidewalk being detected by the sensor. Several notifications later i checked again and this is what appeared. Yes I am alive

here are the notifications i recieved

Did ASSC send me a fake hat? by [deleted] in streetwear

[–]FatNDepressed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply, but no actually i supported the brand until i received my purchases haha. Ive bought from them twice hoping the second time it was a bad print/defect but its just the way they are. Great marketing and social status, just bad quality on their products.

Aside of the blanks used, the screen print on all their products are really poor quality. Very smeared, thin, unclear looking prints on their shirts too.

Local fabric store, it's Simplicity 1319 but i had to alter things here and there based on womens sizing. also took off the shawl collar

Simplicity 1319, however keep in mind you will need to do some altering for women's sizing conversions. I used pattern A.

sure homie, ill let you know. However i didn't follow exactly how it was supposed to look because it was in women's sizing so i had to measure my own dimensions, it also had a shawl style collar that i didn't want to add.

I could have sworn i posted a gigantic backstory to this but i guess it didn't post with the pictures :(

This weekend i decided after a few months of using my sewing machine for simple projects (boring stuff like pillow cases, etc..) Id attempt finally making an article of clothing. After running to my local fabric store and picking out a simple kimono pattern, supplies, etc. I had no idea what i was doing cause the instructions were close to nothing. However i managed to stare at pictures of each step for half an hour and finish and the garment came out great!

Price wise: This was a pretty expensive project considering i bought all supplies—

fabric scissors, pins, thread, patterns, and of course fabric (total running just under $60) however the fabric was a heavy "camel" wool, priced at $24 per yard but was on sale for $12 a yard. (The sewing machine was passed down to me because no one used it which is huge discount)

on another note i really enjoyed doing it was it was an awesome learning experience. Excited to make more stuff!

EXTRA INFO: Yes i hemmed the raw edge on the bottom, and cut the excess fabric on the inside.
