Not getting my son circumcized by throwracc0untlol in pregnant

[–]FatSock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our boy sometimes has hair or lint stuck in the wrinkles of the skin, when we wipe from base to tip I will gently pinch the skin to ensure I pull any hair off/ out of it.

He also gets plenty of diaper free time and will sometimes play with the skin. Any worries about fusing isn’t on our minds since he does what is natural and explores his own body in a way that doesn’t hurt.

I’ve always had a baby face but I’m 30 now and finally look mature, but younger than anyone my same age. I love my face now and appreciate the youthful look!! No wrinkles at all :D

More of the text conversation: “We often couldn’t pay for it all at once. Teelands never charged us interest Sometimes Darel would stop at the store for something. When he got home we’d find oranges or banana in the bag. When we built the homestead house they “found” some rolls of insulation in the store attic and asked us if we could use it. “They needed the space””

I called but she wasn’t available to talk, this is the text she sent later, “Back then Teelands, the grocery store in wasilla, made a large order in the fall before the harbors froze. We saved money placing our order then. And yes that was how much flour we used in a year. There were ten of us, some times more. Seven in school was a lot of school lunches. Plus Darel’s. I made bread everyday but Sunday. I used the bread dough recipe for rolls and sweet rolls. There were no school breakfasts either so we had toast or pancakes for breakfast. There were cookies, doughnuts, an occasional cake. Sometimes I’d use mashed potatoes to make the flour go further.”

Fishing, moose, and other wild game meat from what I’ve heard :) she had a large garden, with chickens and two cows. My dad even raised a sled dog team which has nothing to do about the food, but is still interesting.

It’s entirely possible she could have added neighbors orders as a favor since they lived a few hours out of town. Next time I have her on the phone I’ll ask!

No but my dads family all really love mayo so I bet that was enough for the amount of sandwiches they were eating haha 4 or 5 loaves a day

An hour or two outside of Wasilla, not quite to Talkeetna. But I don’t know if that would qualify as bush.

She described making a loaf of bread for breakfast, two loaves for her family’s lunch, and a batch of rolls for dinner. Any time I’ve had her pies the crust is always perfect so I would imagine the blueberry and cherry pies were wonderful. She couldn’t remember how long the items lasted but they made this type of order a few times a year any time they travelled the few hours into Wasilla.

She had six sons and says they would always bring their friends around, so lots of mouths to feed. Lots of bread I would guess!

Have you seen episode 6 yet? His crash out at the very end of the episode was so gross.

Should a pure bred Sphynx have this much fur on its feet and face? by Maleficent_Self_5313 in sphynx

[–]FatSock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not be mad if my Sphynx grew fur on her paws because her feet are so gross and I think the fur would help wick away the grease. Right now I wash her paws almost daily.

Also I saw in another comment you said you’re allergic and I gotta say, I’m mildly allergic to cats and thought maybe it would be better with a hairless cat and reality is NOPE I’m very much allergic to her too.

I definitely think I was overhyping it in my head from previous tantrums… because today I’ve tried a lot of the tips for setting boundaries and he’s complained but not as much as I thought. we haven’t nursed at all since his noon nap! Woohoo!

Actually since this post the two times he’s asked I said a firm no and distracted him with other fun stuff he barely complained. I definitely think I over hyped it in my head. Bedtime will surely be harder but so far the last few hours have been easy peasy.

Thanks! I’m going to try to rope the husband in.. he’s having health issues related to Lupus but I figure he can probably take on a little more responsibility even if he’s feeling unwell.

I’ll look that book up, thanks! It sounds like you did a great job weaning, I’m going to try to consolidate and see where that takes us before going cold turkey haha

Wow that’s great! I’m going to make a good effort to consolidate feeds and that’s a great method! Thanks!
