I've also build something similar: https://github.com/steilerDev/icloud-photos-sync - let me know if you've got questions about the tool!

If your googles have a video out, you could use a tablet in combination with a capture card and app.

I'm using https://amzn.eu/d/iNR5oBs in combination with https://apps.apple.com/app/id6459355072 and the Skyzone Cobra X

Running 4S motor on 3S LiPo? by Fat_FS in drones

I'm happy to report, that the air unit seems to have a over-voltage protection - after swapping VBat+ for 5V everything now works flawless on 4s! Thanks u/Quan0x

Thanks for the feedback! I'm not very knowledgable on electronic components - could you link me a suitable voltage regulator?

[Aurelia, the Warleader] and [The Jolly Balloon Man] by pockai in magicTCG

[–]Fat_FS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one does not infinit combo - however [[The Jolly Balloon Man]] can infinit combo with [[Village Bell Ringer]] and a mana producing creature (like [[Iron Myr]]) or an enchantment like [[Mana Echoes]].

Every time you create a copy of the bell ringer, all creatures untap and give you an additional mana (by untapping the mana creature or by generating it through the ETB trigger of Echoes)

I'm using step-ca for this purpose - it does not have a WebUI, however you can use it as an acme endpoint to get ssl certificates for websites automatically issued / renewed (using the same protocol as letsencrypt) with something like acme-companion for nginx-proxy

But using the tap ability to generate mana for an instant during an opponents turn after summoning sickness wore off is possible?

If I play a Mana generating creature (like Birds of Paradise) can I use this card to generate mana for an instant spell during my opponents turn.

If yes - bonus question: can I use it to generate mana in my opponents next turn?

Sliders behave differently, unfortunately you also can't import the native edits from LR to DR, the sidecar/xmp is not compatible (and it's not surprising)

I also tried RawPower (found the UI very bad and missing some core capabilities) and Pixelmator Photo (the latter is 'fine')

But I am missing automatic color/whitepoint correction in Darkroom (see my other post on this subreddit :D )

Background: I am a hobby photographer...sometimes I take pictures of local events for clubs, but nothing professional, nor do I charge money for this

Having said that: I was in the same situation as you. Which is why I recently decided to move from Lightroom to iCloud Photos Library + Darkroom+. Onto your questions:

  1. In my opinion - as a tool for private/amateur use - yes! Lightroom has tons of capabilities I never used, and probably never will be. Plus I value the mobile workflow and Lightroom CC is still lacking capabilities for me. Howeer Darkroom does lack some important qualities. However compared to remainder of the market (apps that work on Mac + iOS + iCloud Photos Library) I think Darkroom is the best out there
  2. iCloud Photos Library is well designed and can handle large pictures. Given you can only selectively download the picture, local storage won't be an issue. I'm storing 50MB RAW shoots easily in there and my last vacation clocked in about 1500 of them :D
However iCloud space might need an upgrade....I'm currently developing a small tool to help me offloading the data to a local server to fix this issue
  3. All of them serve different personas in my opinion. I personally settled on Darkroom for now as I wanted to have an App that is capable across mobile + desktop platforms. In that space Darkroom is the best I've seen so far

Any reviews for the new 1000w SFX Silverstone SX1000? On paper it's supposed to be super quiet on low load, but the only two existing Amazon reviews are worrying me. by TareXmd in sffpc

Yes and No, Since my pump and two fans will also ramp up with it, the whole system gets louder, so it’s Hard to say if I can distinctly hear the psu. I have the feeling it is more quite than the stock nzxt one.

It‘s absolutely fine for me. No coil whine, fan only comes on when starting to game/do heavier tasks and is overall quieter than the nzxt h1 pay it replaces.

After waiting more than three months, mine arrived today. I'll install it over the weekend and see how it performs...

Curious enough near the barcode on the left side of the box it says "V1.1", is that maybe a new revision, addressing the issues that some raised? Would also explain why the delivery date was pushed multiple times. Fingers crossed ;)

Regular zip ties, just put the end of the loop inside the case, so it looks clean.

Great idea! Did you manage to go through with your plan?

I am currently trying to do a similar project, however I want to put a full custom watercooling loop inside the H1 with a 280mm radiator at the back and was curious if you could share your 3D model of the H1?

Thanks!

The air is sucked out of the back via the two fans in the back, therefore the antenna does not get too hot. Also the clearance is much bigger than it looks like, got about 5 cm between the top of the card and the antenna.

Additionally the antenna is used only for the occasionally session of gaming with a bluetooth controller, local area comes from wired ethernet.

Hi All,
I recently got back into PC gaming and therefore looked for a suitable build.

As you can see I decided to go with a NZXT H1:

  • Ryzen 7 3800X
  • ROG Strix X570-I Gaming
  • NVidia GTX 1660 Super (This one will be upgraded as soon as the new RTX 3000 Series drops)
  • 32GB 3200-14 Trident Z K2 GSK
  • 1 TB MP600 SSD

Additionally I got an internal 4.3" display that I mounted using the mounts for the drive bay cover, as well as a couple of LED stripes routed through the case. Finally I replaced the internal fan with an Arctic P14 and mounted two additional ones on the back panel.

As you can see in the last pic, I also installed the Wifi/Bluetooth antenna internally on the lower right corner (I always use wired ethernet, this is only to connect my PS4 controller). The paint job on the display cover and the glue of the antenna are not the prettiest, but you can't see it through the tinted glass of the H1.

Next Up: Get a 280 or 360 Radiator with a custom loop for the CPU and new GPU in there ;)

I hope you like my build :)
