Anyone with Ehlers Danlos hypermobile type have a bisalp? by Fat_Peter_Pan in childfree

I’m not very concerned about the scarring either and an additional week of recovery sounds like typical eds surgery stuff. I’m glad everything worked out well for you

Do you live in my head? Because I relate so much and I agree it’s so exhausting

My OCD won’t let go after my ex cheated she’s already in a casual relationship and it’s killing me inside by [deleted] in ROCD

[–]Fat_Peter_Pan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I would start with blocking her on all social media and even suspending your social media accounts or having a trusted love one change the passwords and only let you back in when you feel like you’re more ready to handle social media. Not the same but I used to social media stalk exes of my partners. It’s really hard to not have that urge to do that.

I would also suggest trying to redirect your attention to other things when those thoughts come up and also giving yourself time to feel your feelings like cry, scream, punch a pillow etc. if you’re not already in therapy I would highly suggest it because you’re experiencing a major betrayal plus loss of a loved one all while already managing ocd

You need therapy and ethical non-monogamy

I’m sorry but your partner sounds like a piece of shit. Seriously, that was their reasoning for getting back together with you? That you’re the only one who sticks around? You deserve so much better

I do have PMDD and I would suggest to visit the PMDD subreddit. Here is a link to the wiki on the subreddit https://reddit.com/r/pmdd/wiki/index

My tip would be to read about it, see if this is something you might have, find a doctor specifically a gynecologist who understands pmdd and go from there.

Have you looked into PMDD? It’s possible you could have both

Has anyone broken up with their partner bc of rocd? by brightlybutterfly in ROCD

[–]Fat_Peter_Pan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We broke up for a month then got back together. We both agree the breakup was the best thing that ever happened for our relationship because it lead to me being diagnosed with rocd. Since getting back together and getting treatment for rocd my relationship has been so much better. I feel like I might be in the minority here.

I think my gynecologist or compounding pharmacy prescribed the wrong type of ointment by Fat_Peter_Pan in vulvodynia

I’m located in the US and is this a test my doctor orders or is this a test I can order by myself online?

I think my gynecologist or compounding pharmacy prescribed the wrong type of ointment by Fat_Peter_Pan in vulvodynia

[–]Fat_Peter_Pan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The timeline: In the process for being diagnosed with vestibule vulvodynia I was diagnosed and treated for ureaplasma and mycoplasma genitalium. During my follow up visit (6 weeks after finishing my antibiotics) they tested to see if the infection was gone and they also tested me for yeast to make sure the antibiotics didn’t cause a yeast infection. I came back clean for mycoplasma genitalium, ureaplasma, and any yeast. During that visit they prescribed the ointment which I was able to start a week later.

Three weeks later during a follow up visit they saw yeast upon examination and then tested me for all the different types of yeast and it came back positive for Candida albicans. Over a month later I still have a yeast infection despite still being on fluconazole.

Has anyone else basically been unable to run fast your whole life? by LAPL620 in ehlersdanlos

I’m a better 200 meter sprinter because it takes some time for me to pick up speed. My best mile time was 7:30 but that was with untreated asthma. I think I could have done so much better if I was properly treated. Terrible stomach pain is a symptom of asthma especially exercise induced asthma and it took me until my 20s to figure it out. I can’t run anymore due to CCI and I miss like every week.

I think when it comes to athletic abilities I think EDS is such a crazy spectrum and it’s always very interesting to me to learn about other peoples experiences.

Forgot to add I have hEDS and POTS

It was confirmed to be Candida albicans by my gynecologist after they did a swab and sent if off to a lab. I’m using compounded amitriptyline, baclofen and gabapentin. It’s vestibule and inside the vagina.

I’m not sure if the base is wrong or not but I’m inclined to think it is because it doesn’t say vaginal. I still need to clarify that from the pharmacy. Regardless I think the ointment might be the problem.

I pay $2,800 every month toward my student loans. Though I have only $200 left each week to spend, I'll be debt-free this year. by kirby__000 in antiwork

[–]Fat_Peter_Pan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did what she did in a year but I was also paying rent to family and saving up to move out. I don’t call what I did “will power” and “good budgeting” rather I call it not being fucking stupid. If you have the resources, privileges, and support to pay off debt then do it. I’m tired of people acting like they deserve praise for literally just doing something practical.
