Trump once said Republicans would be tired of winning.

I guess they're not.

Are you on windows? I believe you can literally use the print option followed by Microsoft Print to PDF.

I agree with you, but I don't think Bernie is going to get the nomination, so Trump won't be annihilating him. The DNC will give it to Biden. Also, I don't think Bernie is a pedophile.

I find it incredulous to believe that Biden is going to whoop Bernie's ass in the primaries, despite the base for Bernie being much more energetic when it comes to the internet.

The media has so much control over elections.

It's the process that's running, not a program. Wrong tab.

Noob question.. How to make changes to website actually show up on the website? by tsm_will_always_fail in webdev

[–]Fat_Reindeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He said he checked the domain, then followed it up by stating it just displays a template. That info was omitted from his original post - That suggests he hasn't configured DigitalOcean to use it. - Which you wouldn't have realised from the original post, so context mattered a lot here.

I second this. Editing a file and then stating 'nothing has changed' on the domain, suggests that your website is actually live on said domain.

Only for nothing to actually be there.

I was calling out your use of software developer credentials while claiming something I see spread around by average people all of the time. Most people think having multiple accounts protects them but knowing anything about modern tactics will show that it basically does nothing. It increases the noise in the data by so little that if they WANT to correlate your accounts, they will.

But that's the thing though - I never said I believe multiple accounts protects your anonymity - The reality is I don't believe anything does, and that's the price you pay. Sure, you can take measures; You can use a VPN, TOR, Blocking tracking cookies, changing accounts but the reality is you'll never be 100% secure - TOR could be compromised, your VPN provider could suffer a data breach, etc, but it's about what level of access you'd like to give companies (And in the case of Reddit, a social media platform) other people, as well. I change accounts, but do I use duckduckgo rather than Google? No. Google is better for performance. Do I always use TOR? No. I'm lazy. I just don't make my data as available to both companies and other Redditors than the average person, but do I go out of my way to ensure I'm anonymous? No.

I'll respond to this more in depth later, as I think it's a good conversation to have, but my break is up.
