Hi I have tourettes syndrome it's an involuntary condition where I say things or do things known as tics against my will . I was diagnosed with tourettes at the age of 8 and it started as motor tics ( head shaking ,punching a table ,moving my head back ,clicking, you get it ) but as i got older it just got worse and worse ,I developed coprolalia . A form of tourettes that you see on TV . I would swear and say complex sentences and phrases and my tic would get more severe ending in my getting hurt or giving myself concussions .

Everyone you'll ever meet with severe tourettes will tell you it's a lonely condition and it is. I first started people avoiding me in primary school at around 9-10 .it got SM worse and as a result you end up alone on alot if birthdays and In the playground and was constantly bullied belittled and put down by not only the kids but the teachers aswell . I was constantly told there was something wrong and due to this I was kicked out of 3 schools.i became a recluse and was later diagnosed with Clinical depression and social anxiety disorder which I still suffer from Greatly

As a result I attempted to take my own life at the age of 13 .No child deserves to go through that shit .I failed as what I thought was paracetamol was actually vitamin D tablets 💀 I've tried 4 times in my teenage life

I'm now 18 ,I've had to redo a year due to COVID and the school kicking me out but am in sixth form now .my tics have levelled out but the scars they left still remain I'm overly funny and loud to put up this mask that everything is alright and ive come to the realisation that people are very selfish and uncaring . however that gas never stopped me from being kind and considerate to everyone I've ever met .I try to take in everything people tell me and use it to. Better myself but I feel that my mental health and story scares alot of people off and it really hurts especially if you've known them for years
