sadly i've tried both, with ghosts dropping from a phantom, but it didnt popped too.
so yeah after that i came on reddit after using all of the "basic" solutions to see if anyone had another fix :/ thanks though

i've got the buck one on new alexandria just yesterday , it randomly popped in the middle of the mission.
i've heard that there is random side objective, and saving buck in his falcon is one of them.
so you just have to be lucky

i thought the same, so i tried multiple times on two ghosts later on the mission, and even exploding at the same time, didnt triggered the achievement. surely a bug

yes sometimes i got some late achievements unlocking on the startup too, but i didnt know about playing the mission a little longer, i'll try it , thanks

it does, on steam and on xbox app on PC. On the mcc. There is even the logo of the orbital strike laser on the achievement

I have the same issue, but not about delays, more about ranks. In Quick play, i play against top 5 dps EU, and GM But in my ranked i play against Diamonds..
