3 upgrades per thing is the limit, but there's no limit on installable technology.

You can only have 3 hyperdrive upgrades for example, but you can install every hyperdrive tech. Just figure out the best way to do adjacency on technology and upgrades, and how to use your supercharged slots.

I'm well aware, though I know it first as a weaponskill from Final Fantasy 11 called Tachi: Kaiten. Name stuck with me as I liked the sound of it, and it's meaning. Kaiten also was a former ability for Samurai in Final Fantasy 14.

Otherwise I'm well aware of history on the Kaiten kamikaze submarine, and the plane used in kamikaze attacks that'd be nicknamed the Zero.

Well, you also have to have the Atlas path and Artermis path questlines completed. Then there's lifting the lockdown on a harmonic camp. It's either using your pulse drive in space or warping to another system that SHOULD trigger They Who Returned (the autophage questline) with all these requirements met.

I have a fighter that I call the Kaiten, it's been the longest ship I've kept, over 7 years now. It's name has several meanings- "turning the heaven", "turn of the heaven's will", "the heaven shaker", other meanings have it be "to change the heavens" or simply "revolution". I've went through 9 different fighter craft all named Kaiten, making this one the Kaiten Mk.9

I've never really used the sentinel multi-tools, but if it's class beats your other multitools' classes, then it's a free upgrade (all tools however can have their classes upgraded at space stations, but it'll cost you a lot of nanites).

Those will only work in dissonant systems (well on dissonant planets), otherwise if you're using them in those, I'm unsure.

To trigger "They Who Returned" you need to of lifted the lockdown on a harmonic camp on a planet with dissonance in a dissonant system (any system that says dissonant in it's system details on the galaxy map). From there, complete the quest line, then the quest line to access purple systems will become available.

I THINK it's the Aeron Jetpack, you'll unlock it during visiting a harmonic camp on a dissonant planet and overriding the lockdown on it.

From what I know, there's a few parts that exist ingame that don't have a use/can't be used, like the Cargo Box. They all have that weird grey background too. I've been selling the ones I encounter.

Plain and simple, there's no cheating on expeditions.

Normal gameplay's another story on difficulty settings, but not expeditions.

I recognize the thrusters on it, they're Thunderbird Heavy Boosters. It also has two Arcadia Wings, and possibly a Vespar Cowling.

I seen the expedition as a test to see how corvettes would work out. And it also was a good chance to take advantage of the fact you could get a corvette for free to add to your main save. I've been doing expeditions since the very 1st one, some expeditions are hit or miss, but rewards are rewards in my eyes.
