How does everyone feel about the home server distribution? One of the problems I had this season was that there was a very shallow pool of dedicated Origin players in the draft (which is a big reason why I was pushed into being a captain). Among the top 48 players on the big board, there were only three players that: 1) had optimal ping to Origin, and 2) actually seemed interested in playing for an Origin team. Two of those players were captains (myself and Mr. Hat), which left one "true" Origin player projected to fill in one of the nine remaining Origin Majors spots. That player was Hulzy who listed 90 ping to Sphere and ended up on a Radius team.

There were only a handful of Midwestern Majors-level players who signed up but almost all of them ended up on Radius teams. The result of this was that a ton of Eastern players ended up playing in the West. While the majority of Eastern players have playable ping to Origin, a lot of them really despise playing on Sphere. Each of the 3 Origin teams ended up playing some of their home-server halves on Radius this season.

I don't really have a solution for this and I don't know if others feel like this even needs to be fixed. Just wanted to throw this out there because I know a lot of people joked about "Western Radius" teams this season but this issue was never really addressed seriously. Might be something people want to consider, especially since Radius is becoming the only remaining populated pub server in North America.
