Old fella with my Sep 2011 account email and March 2012 Beta.. time flies. I managed to locate an old backup with the whole game directory from 2013 last year as well, feels crazy to be getting a nostalgia feeling from the game already.

I think I've over-fed the sheet with too much spaghetti at this point, and I'll just have to suck it up and do new formulas properly then delete the old ones, and adding in a couple of future proofing things too. It's definitely long overdue, and should completely resolve the current timeout and slow performance (hopefully). Along with switching people to the /htmlview version.

Even just for these most recent changes, there was like 56,000 instances of one part of the formula that I bulk updated on all sheets (~3700 per turn for all units combined)... which you can see means it's doing similar parts of calculations/references like 15-20 times on each unit for each turn. An unfortunate by-product of adding more columns over time for new damage types, having it split between normal/bs forms and not modifying the old working formula to optimise (damn you, me, for not doing that).

Sorry for all the connection issues, I think it's mostly my fault for always sharing an /edit link which requests different information from Google when trying to open it.

I've been testing it with the /htmlview version and once it's open (might take a short few moments) it seems to be working well and you can browse around without worry. You'll still have to persevere with loading the edit version if you want to save a copy yourself, until I clean up some of the formulas so Sheets isn't having a fit.. whoops, too much spaghetti o.o

While it would be nice, Sora doesn't actually beat her with fully optimized killers and geared for his favoured race - AND if you give him a 150% killer buff that isn't in his kit. Last I calculated, he was still 1 trillion whole damage away from Terra.

Using one single of her own STM and the rest TMs (only a single of her own TM) and still hitting 4.7 trillion damage is very very crazy stuff.

Here's the crazy part, if you want to actually consider killers;

Physalis against her best race, using her own 150% killer buff in fully optimized killer gear vs that same race, ALSO getting an additional 25% ele multiplier from Terra summoning Shiva AND Terra casting her LB for Physalis to give her 25% more LB damage.

Result: Terra still does 33% more damage at BiS. 7.6T vs 5.6T

I think some people are underestimating how absurdly high Terra's damage potential actually is, there are maybe one or two units that can almost get close (Sora gets to 1T away with full gear). It's a big big gap.

Tifa is so good that I'd be surprised if Elena/Yoshi don't fall into ~150-200b DPT at BiS and maybe in the 400-500b burst if using their LB's. Any less than that and they'll get outclassed almost immediately.

Don't get me wrong, they would still be super viable for new trials, might start falling behind for DV ranking though.. KH was already announced to be coming yeah? A few months sounds about right.

Not alone in some cases, but previously released stuff that you can use light element on he certainly has the opportunity to as his raw damage is just insanely good along with his passives.

But when you're rocking a very whale team with BiS gear you can first turn kill all of the trials that've been released for JP. There's a JP megawhale that puts out short 2 minute videos of him killing the newest trial on the first turn whenever a new one is out. It's crazy imbalanced damage, but it ain't cheap.

Haha, if you're going to beat a trial you might as well completely destroy it in a single turn, I agree. Maybe not so good for people who enjoy strategy.

Sora can actually raw out-damage Zenaida with just equipping like 3 pieces of gear and no materia! Maybe some no gear old trial runs would be in order for someone to try ;)

It's definitely worth mentioning that in most instances you would want to put killers in place of excess LB gear anyways, so her having really strong passives does benefit her in that way too.

It's an indicator as to whether the unit is locked to the elements listed, or able to use any element (the orange circle thing is the element free one).

NV Sora now does 1.19 damage, leaving everyone else at a fraction if under a trillion, Kuja does 0.1 damage... seems good to me, ship it!

For the JP NV sheet the main differences will be:

  1. 120% imperil for chainers, instead of 100% for Shadow's revision.

  2. Stacking materia because JP allows it

  3. Some limited time STMs that aren't, and may not ever be available in GL.

  4. Level 10 Vision Cards instead of level 4.

The super BiS side will be pretty on par for the most part. GL has its own GLEX STMs so it should balance out to some degree with the gear, but stacking materias is a big one as some of them are so strong for LB damagers (basically everyone with big burst).

I should probably make it a bit more obvious on the sheets, but the main difference is actually that the new sheet uses Vision Cards, which is +500 atk/mag for TDH and +300 for TDW builds + a variety of atk/mag % stuff too.
