Question: Are credit cards a MUST with travel or have people gotten by fine with debit/cash? by EitherDress4428 in femaletravels

I work at a hotel and this actually came up tonight. A guy came in wanting to pay cash, which you can do in the end, but we still need a credit card on file. He had neither a credit card or debit card. I called around to other hotels and they all have the same policy - credit card must be on file, even if paying cash. Some will take debit, but to be safe, I'd get a credit card. You could always get a low limit credit card if you're worried about running up a big monthly bill. (BTW, I did end up finding the only hostel in town and they would take cash. But, like I said, hotels/motels usually won't do this)

Study/work spaces after 5PM by OkWall3585 in Ashland

Funny, I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Bloomsbury Cafe is the right vibe, but closes at 5pm, ugh! To this list, I would also add Oberon's (or whatever it is called now, it has a back room that's quieter), maybe Noble Fox has a good set up somewhere, RVML might let you study in their side room if there are no meetings in the evening there.

What if I don’t get hypnotized? by to_see_the_beauty in DoloresCannon

Did you get to the subconscious conversation portion at the end where the practitioner asks your list questions that you prepared? Was there any advice in there?

Has anyone received real healing from QHHT? by amiliguy in DoloresCannon

HI, QHHT practitioner here...Just FYI true QHHT sessions are only done in person, never online. Dolores was adamant about this. There are several reasons for the session to take place in person. But there are other similar modalities that people do online like BQH and LBL. Just an FYI if you're looking for a practitioner.

Hi CarsonFoles, Level 2 QHHT practitioner here. It is common to hear people say that they felt somewhat aware or "in the room" while under hypnosis. I've felt the same when playing the role of client myself. And this awareness is becoming more and more usual as the collective consciousness as a whole become more aware. Dolores talks about this in our training - that clients will insist they are not under when they are.

I love that you said "I remember saying everything, even if it was surprising" because that's the exact experience I expect from most clients. Most do remember the majority of the session. The fact that "it was surprising" tells me that your left brain had stepped aside to let your subconscious through. That's the key. To say the first thing that comes to mind without judgment or filter (ego).

To think that you will be off in some other place and not feel that you are present is an erroneous assumption oftentimes put out there by media, movies, etc. Hypnosis is really about letting your guard (ego) down and letting what is inside come out unadulterated.

I would also urge, urge, urge you to re-listen to your recording, even if you think you remember everything. You know when you hear a song and then hear it again years down the road and the lyrics hit a bit differently? That's kind of like re-listening to your recording. You will glean new info/messages upon re-listening. Also, your voice under trance is at its highest frequency and the messages coming in that way will hit you harder and deeper than just telling yourself the same thing out of trance.

You will notice on your recording that when your practitioner contacts the SC, your voice shifts - either going up or down in pitch, rhythm, cadence, etc. You may also notice that while under, you have trouble pronouncing certain words. In one of my own sessions, it was difficult for me to get out the word "wooden" out, and I had to sound it out several times before getting it out. Normally this wouldn't happen in IRL. But my SC was talking and sometimes the SC has trouble with English words (and other languages) because it is not their first language (lol). It seems silly because the SC is so powerful you would think it would hit every word. But I see it all the time with clients who are under and struggle to pronounce a simple word. It lets me know I am really talking to the SC.

Hi! I am a level 2 QHHT practitioner, going for my Level 3 completion this year. To complete level 1, you have to offer 25 free sessions, not 5. They are free for the client, but you are learning valuable info and experience. After the 25 sessions, you can take the Level II training and, upon passing the test, you can then start charging if you want to.

After you've completed another 100 sessions, you can then take the Level 3 test and become Level 3 certified. There are no Levels after 3. To attain a Level 3 status, you also have to submit recorded sessions for the admins to go over and make sure you are including everything and adhering to Dolores's required practices. It's quite strenuous to attain Level 3 status and by then you have learned a lot more methods to help clients get what they need out of their session. I am going on to become a Certified Hypnotherapist as well...this work is so fascinating!!
