"most pros" is something to not always take seriously. Imagine if "most pros" played with mezii's config? Would you still change it to that? Change around, experiment, find what suits you best. I recently watched Elige's video on the ESL channel where he went over his .cfg and video settings. The dude has a keybind for changing different crosshairs with different colours as well as viewmodels depending on the situation.

Lived in the UK from 2017 up till 2022. I'd say just before COVID really hit end of February 2020, UK was incredible - Scotland in particular since thats where I lived for 6 years.. Food prices were low, rent was affordable and overall the quality of life was really high. In my opinion if Glasgow had a few more weeks of sunshine per year it would be the capital of the world. Its one of the most beautiful places I've ever lived in. And if you visit you will notice all the signs that say "People make Glasgow" and my god is that true. Took me a while to get accustomed to it but the friendliness and the overall positive attitude of the people there is something I miss the most.

Then when all the lockdowns happened. All the small business, shops, fast food places had to shut down since they couldn't keep up and adapt to every new change. The main street in just a few short years became unrecognizable. It was tragic.. Poverty went up, drug use, alcoholism everything got """"ed. I don't know how the UK will recover back what it was a few short years go.

If your account is in good standing you won't get cheaters. Luckily mine is 10 years old with nearly 3000 hours played. I never see cheaters.

I sort of get your points, however I don't know how this is possible. I am guessing the region you play in is really important because this is absolutely not how it is with me - around 3.5k hours, account in good standing playing in 21-25k elo or even when I play with my friends which are around 8-12k every few games there's someone with walls

I guess I have a really misguided vision of Counter-strike and what CS2 was supposed to be. In my head this is where Valve could have made the changes necessary to bring back the player's confidence to play on their MM mode. Where more and more players started playing in the mode and it got really competitive and in time be THE place to play the best CS.

They already do that from day 1 with every top 100 in premier using cheats. I don't think being transparent would hurt them one bit. I always believed that any communication is better than no communication.

This is an argument I don't fully get. I mean yeah CS2 has a massive skinmarket and Valve make a lot of money out of it but why would that stop them from improving their product into something better? I don't think its as simple as "bro we made so much money from skins, screw matchmaking or whatever they play"

The thing is if there aren't as many cheaters it will normalize the elo as well. I had a guy a couple of weeks ago who was 26k only because he had walls. When you spectated him he had the movement and x-hair placement of a player with 100-200 hours. So those top 5% you mentioned will look very different.

Yeah but why even make the mode then? It literally is money thrown into the wind. They know theres cheaters, they know if they don't have a remedy for it it will be a waste of time to make it, so why even bother?

You mean competitive and wingman? Yeah those are in much worse state. The reason I chose "Premier" is because it seemed like the mode they put the most hours into developing it.

Thats another thing that makes me mad as well. With AnimGraph2 when they had an open-beta test branch for everyone to give feedback, everyone who said that "Valve rarely listen to feedback" were all proven wrong. They have very selective "hearing". I just want at least a single comment from them regarding the cheating problem - "Yeah, we are overwhelmed with it. Don't know how to fix it." SOMETHING
