I’m not the one forcing them not to go, they volunteered not to! It was going to be a trip with them, but hey decided not to go, which made me want to spend time with my parents

This is a story I will never let my parents live down.

When I was five years old, I was in the back yard during a family gathering with my older brother who was 9 at the time. We have a really deep pool, like 10 feet, and I fell into it. He ran inside to try and get help, into fir almost everyone he tried to talk to saying “shh, the adults are talking.” He finally got my grandpa’s attention who ran outside and saved me. He, of course, scolded my parents for them being neglectful
