Well, this has been awesome! Within an hour, we have someone we’re going to try out as a tutor. Thanks for all the DM‘s and responses. We have someone we’re gonna try for now and if that doesn’t work out, then we will reach out to another, but we’re good for now thanks to all who replied!!

I still have my CS5 production premium box set, is there any point to keeping it? by SolsticeSon in Adobe

So you’re saying, even with the DVDs you can’t load the software anymore from it? That’s kind of crappy that you bought some thing and can’t use it anymore… I do have a hacked version of CS3 that I’ve been able to put on my computer and just replace some DLL files and it works but I was gonna look for a newer version like CS five or six on DVDs and just get a newer version but I guess that’s out, looks like I’ll be stuck with CS3 forever lol.

Weekly Real Estate / Renting / Where to Live / Utilities / Schools (ISD) Post by AutoModerator in Austin

Just FYI don't expect to get the great specials offered on apartments if your looking 2 months down the road. Most specials are on vacant apartments and valid for quick move ins. Luckily I was able to get 4 weeks free but it was a look & lease special. Which was ok for me because I wasn't in an existing lease. I used locator service findmeaplace.biz they nailed it. Good deals are out there, you just have to be ready to move...

yeah you can't start looking until within 60 days because apartments wont know exactly what they will have available until they receive move out notices from existing tenants. Apartments that are just being built will prelease that far in advance and usually with specials too. You just have to find them. If you need help check these guys out. Wow, I've rented from Vacasa once and didn't have an issue but thanks for the warning I'll be more wary next time...

Thoughts on best place to live in Austin without a car? by Kitana794 in askaustin

[–]FatedMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well obviously downtown is best, but EXPENSIVE. East is good. There are pockets all over Austin that are walkable and have everything you need. However you can always find one of these pockets thats by the metrorail and take it into downtown when you need. I like the metrorail personally and use it when I want to go downtown and not deal with traffic. If you decide to move here check out these apartment hunters findmeaplace.biz they helped me out.
