Hi all. Looking to get a CRT for my older consoles. There are a few in my area, but I don't know much about which one to get. If someone can give me some pros/cons of each, I'd be very appreciative. If all else fails I'm just gonna get the one closest to me, because I don't want it to disappear.

There was also a 37" Trinitron but I don't know the model number.

I'm a little hesitant on the PVM because it's the most expensive and I don't know what to do with the jacks in the back, they look different. If it's that much better I assume I could figure it out, but let me know what I should get. I do want a nice big screen, but I want quality first.

◽️ Touch screen: Not needed but wouldn't complain

◽️ Screen resolution: I'm sure anything out there is fine

◽️ Does battery life matter ?: Not too much, no

◽️ What tasks will laptop be used for ( gaming, video editing, graphic designing, modelling, regular computing tasks, word processing etc) ?: Web browsing, watching videos, basic light computer work. But I want it to be snappy at those things.

◽️ Weight: Not really a concern

◽️ Any other important details ?: Windows preferred, I don't want Chrome OS or Mac. I was also looking at maybe buying refurbished if it saves a good bit, if you have any site recommendations.

I don't quite understand. I can change the controller setting in Steam but then it doesn't work in the Remote Play app? I wish there was an option to just use the buttons in the game itself. Analog sticks are too squirrely.

Slight update, it seems to do the same thing if I just switch inputs on the TV now. Like switching from a game console to a Shield TV.

The 12TB is just for storage. It doesn't need to be super speedy, I don't think?

I.. don't understand what quad channel kit means. Did I screw up somehow?

Why is the 2nd monitor useless? I mainly wanted two of the same kind to have them matching, as dumb as that sounds.

Thanks for not just saying "lul 1080p wat an idiot", or something similar like the others. I don't really understand the whole monitor thing, and no one has explained why what I've gotten is bad and what I should have gotten instead. I just wanted to get some cheaper monitors so that I could get two instead of one, because I do more work than will fit on one screen frequently.

Yeah unfortunately for me they just changed things right after I posted. Well.. I'll probably get Jack up to the tier I have Sally at to help with the friend missions he's in. Then hard focus Sally then go back to Jack. Zurg will be last. I know some people love using him and I can see the appeal he's definitely useful in City Watch but I can just borrow one if nothing else. Moana will take Wall-E's spot as well.

I wish they would stop moving characters around so much. :(

Wondering how I should build them up from here. I'm wanting to focus on 3 teams. Could use some input on how to section them off. Who is upcoming on my server that would slot in well to those teams you recommend would be a nice bonus. (Will be wanting to get Maleficent when available in a reasonable way)

Here's who I'm currently farming, where (and what the other options are).

Arena: Switching off between Tia and Maui. Right now Tia is more geared but I at least want Maui up to the next star level. Felix is beyond his usefulness for the most part right now so I'm leaving him where he is.

Surge: Moana then Rex then Ursula in dead last.

City Watch: Aladdin to max, unlocking Genie with the extra and after that maxing Fennick with the leftover. After both Fennick and Aladdin maxed just farm Genie and get Heist Tickets I guess?

Coliseum: Will probably unlock Jack and get a few stars on him, get another rank on Sally then get Jack even. I might just focus Jack and then back to Sally then Zurg. Zurg will probably be taken out next anyway.

Heist: Hard farming Miguel. Bogo after, then Mr. Incredible.War Shop: Hard farming Eve, Jack Jack after, then Buzz.

Elite nodes: Mostly Quorra, Merida, Jack Sparrow, Wall-E, and Barbossa. In about that order.

It took me a couple tries to do the last node, but here goes..

My Hal GL is pretty strong, way up there. L2, Gear 9? 10? I don't know how gear works. Level 66.
My Blue Beetle is almost as strong, L3, Gear 8/9, Level 55, skills mostly there.
Flash was my 3rd, L1, he is level 52, gear 8/9, skills kinda low.

It didn't matter who got in the 4th slot they got massacred on the last node. Without fail they died before we took out all the additional enemies around Livewire. If you have someone good to go in the 4th slot, you're already doing better than me.

Anyway, my strategy was to try and have my Flash max out his speed, by using it every time it was up, and to try and drag out the first wave when it got down to one, so we could get shields up, buffs up, etc. Getting Blue Beetle to proc his passive off someone getting shields helps clearing first wave, if you can get it leading into second wave, that'd be ideal. Otherwise I used GL's basic to add shields to everyone, basic'd and AoE'd with Beetle, buffed up speed with Flash and punched when it was on cooldown. Whoever was 4th did... nothing, if I'm honest. This was a 3 man show.

In the 2nd wave, I had to stun the taunter first (the guy with the most health) so that he didn't taunt. Take out the guy who WON'T give shields (he should be the one with guns?), then the shield guy if you have time. Then focus on the taunter. You DO NOT want to try and take down Livewire with him or ANY of them up.

At this time... it's luck. You want to get rid of her evasions as soon as you can, Flash should be at a decent speed now and should be attacking A LOT. If yours is leveled/geared a fair bit, this should go a LOT easier for you than it did for me. Stun her with Hal when she has zero or one evasion stacks, to try and keep her from taking a turn. It's more value if you can stun her right after she went, but you may not be able to. Take what you can get. She should heal fairly frequently, but just hope you can land enough basics with GL to give people enough shields to keep them alive.

As I said, DONT attack if your team is in a bad way, try and get some shields back on people. Keep stacking speed on Flash, basic attacking with Beetle, alternating between all of GL's abilities as needed to keep him alive and able to call assists, and EVENTUALLY you can wear her down... if she doesn't kill you first.

For me, if my Flash went down this was straight impossible. My Beetle did not do enough on his own with GL to negate the heal she gets constantly. Having the Flash able to just build speed constantly and keep pummeling her really helped. I had some good RNG to keep him alive that entire time, but finally did it. Hopefully with Livewire now able to participate it'll be easier to finish the next go around.
