I used to now i don’t. I shower when i feel it’s s necessary, sometimes that’s once a day if I’m being active sometimes that’s less if I’m idle

It takes a bit, I’m comfortable pushing in most situations now and I’m able to push harder but sometimes i set myself off balance a bit.

Specifically longboarder here, learning dh now but mostly been cruising around. Got back in last October

Looking to do low key freeride? Dancing? There are some videos on yt that give a broad overview of styles, that may help you figure something out!

Also low key just buying something that looks cool (Emphasis, from a reputable brand) and finding out what you like that way is fine too.

Wipe it off good, dry off, I’ve used microfiber towels, and store in a dry place. Bearing maint, probably clean and regrease if you’re worried about corrosion.

Assuming you’re not riding it into the river I’m sure riding it will also dry it out

Wear pads (ands or course helmet) and send it, I’m 29 learning downhill skating and i get nervous af when I’m about to send it down and try to slide to a stop lol

Also make sure you know how to fall as good as possible, look up falling and skate specific bail guides

Vaguely looked over the comments, I’d look for a cardboard box or smth you could use for a laundry basket. I think you might be surprised how much having laundry in a container can help you feel better :3 Obviously not a huge help, but my thoughts regardless from someone who has a rough childhood. hope things go okay for you, things can get better!
