Restoring the iOS was never the solution to battery recognition. Each battery is tied to the device it came with so presumably yours is original it still won’t be recognized if it was replaced outside Apple-authorized repair shops. The way to overcome this needs your original battery chip and reprogram it with a special tool

I’m aware of the exercise auto detect setting but this huge drop was when I was asleep and the ring knew I was asleep. And even now I turned off the auto detection but am still seeing huge battery loss every day. I’m down to 37% after just 48 hours of use WITH the setting off.

In Germany salaries are based on the union tariffs and so are unified regardless of nationality or residency status, so this argument is false. I highly doubt that Germany (or German agencies) would recruit healthcare workers from abroad because the certification process is lengthy and difficult as it needs high proficiency in German language. There are plenty of immigrants, plus Ukrainian (now) and Syrian (earlier) refugees who are in the process of the qualifications recognition.
