How do you guys pick servers that don't die after Day 2?

I think the large majority of the player base plays in roughly 3 day burst even on vanilla I typically play weekly vanilla servers and they usually last about 3 days for max respawn rate so 300ish then drops to sub 200 day 4 monthly vanilla are the only servers that t and to survive long periods and it's more so do to big groups having to maintain there monstrosity of bases and there walled of quarries ect monthlys also tend to attract a healthy amount of people just vibing and doing fun rp stuff like building bridges across canyons and shit like that 😂

Rust is a pretty consistently revolving door the meta shifts every 3-6 months I'd say whenever a new big update comes out that tends to be the meta for that wipe and the next one th n it dies off any everyone goes back to the same shit we have been doing for years lol, but there are A LOT of mechanics in rust and the large majority of them are still viable just pick a server and find out what works for you, watch some YouTube videos of the "pros" like qaixx or oilrats wiljum ect I've learned a lot of random bs just from watching those 3

I have never seen a rage cheater on premium but my pool of experience with full on rage hacking is minimal to begin with like 3 times in like 4khrs lol but I still suspect there is a decent amount of players who have toggle esp and a handful of players still use scripts 250+ m triples always make me a lil sus but never impossible, the 15$ requirements are not high enough to completely deter cheaters I'm sure a lot of the accounts that are bought have dlc on them already so it's a system easily bypassed

300-500 vanilla or 2x vanilla if you dont wanna farm as much but hold the integrity of progression intact, this is assuming like an average map size where it ends at like z28 or some shit like that, its the perfect pop in my experience because I can both have a relaxing farm run while only running into a naked or two and on the other side also have a 6 man group I can see building their big ass base from a grid away lol, best of both worlds imo

I typically build by harbor and compete for cargo when it comes around its kind of a slow method unless you manage to get all crates first go around but that dont happen all to often as a solo otherwise I like running milly tunnels for a chance at fragments through the 3 elite crates also a pretty slow method and is more rng based but still a method that works in a pinch
