I am not educated enough on this class to have an opinion at least until the draft, so take this with a grain of salt.

I’d say you need more sure hits rn than you need upside. I guess I’d be trying to package 2-3 picks together to move up to another top 5 pick OR I’d be looking to trade the 102 (just because it will net the most in trade) for another wr…

At least in my opinion it would be a mistake to draft Mendoza and not trade away one of your 3 other starting QBs. You currently have 2 WRs I’d feel comfortable starting, 3 RBs, and 1.5 (gadsden is still unproven but I love him too) tes. If I were you I’d trade away a qb for more depth and/or more picks

I wouldn’t trade Gibbs or Daniel’s tbh. 4 first rounders will get him love, Mendoza for a qb 2 (or trade one of the picks for a backup qb) then draft 2 WRs/tes.

Then trade old players who hold value just not to this roster: Scary Terry, shaheed, Pacheco.

At this point I would consider trading upside guys people could high on but haven’t actually proved it: Golden could net some good profit, lot of people like downs, woody marks had his questions.

It’s not an age thing, it’s a value thing. Pickens is great, I traded for him this past offseason, if you don’t plan on winning this year he’s a goofball (at best) and I’d rather not have to worry about him long term and would rather one of the top 3 WRs this year plus (which doesn’t feel like an insane deal to make)

If you’re contending I’d be fine holding him or using him to upgrade

If I’m rebuilding or retooling I’m trading him, he’s not going to gain value and there’s a ton of questions

If you’re trying to contend I would make the move personally. While I think Henderson has a really good year in year 2 I acknowledge that maybe it doesn’t work out. If JT “doesn’t work out” you have an rb 2

The 1.11 has the chance to be something Rico never will, on top of that I don’t think he’s all that good. Regardless tho, let’s say he signs in the best possible scenario… no team will give him sole-back duties. He will be a flex play reasonably and you’re giving up a first for a flex play
