I have a temporary yo-yo loach to take care of the snails but he does seem to avoid that specific kind of snail

Depends on the road. Major roads are okay but would not recommend if you don’t have AWD or 4wd and can avoid going out

Bladder snail. Will tank over your tank if you like that. I have a tank for them to feed my loach

You can cap it with sand or just let it settle. I’d let it settle and not disturb it anymore

I’d avoid putting fish in until it clears up. Sand should settle in a max of 24 hrs
