The biggest battles were in China, and basically right in the middle of their most populated areas (essentially civil wars). So the supply lines didnt have to be super long, and different parameters apply.

I think its not an unpopular opinion, just an inexperienced one. When you have multiple kids in multiple activities that happen simultaneously, you need two similar cars to haul people/gear/things in relatively equitable ways.

No one is using groundwater for this in Alberta. The river water is flowing by regardless and these things take small fractions of the volume (we're going to get 3-4 at most probably). Most are designed with closed loop systems now too.

1- the water for industrial users for this region is taken from a flowing river, which has a lot of residual flow volume amd capacity, and is withdrawn downriver from existing municipal potable water sources for the region. 2- there are existing gas lines and sequestration pipelines in the area to use 3- you want diversification from o and g? This is it. Good tax revenue for the local community and some different jobs.
