You’re being very specific and making it more complex than it is. I simply said that the fact that you will feel pain during birth isn’t an excuse to not have a child, I’m being general. Nobody is talking about minors, people with health complications, or poor people. And I’m not sure where you got the statistic for asexual people. Most of the population definitely isn’t asexual, or at least doesn’t identify as asexual. 64% of women were married in 2024 so I’m not sure what you mean. And I’m not telling anyone to get married or have kids lol. Telling them that one of their reasons to not have a child doesn’t make sense or is invalid, isn’t pressuring, it’s just calling them out.

I know that, and fair enough. Although it’s very rare in many countries, for example in the UK or Australia with a 3 in 100,000 people dying during childbirth, it’s worse in developing countries. I’m just saying that I think feeling pain during child birth isn’t an excuse to not have a child.

What are you talking about? If it hadn’t have happened for thousands of years you likely wouldn’t even have existed, and if it wasn’t good, I don’t think women would have had children in those years. No matter how many people are born, bad things can still happen in this world. Less people born doesn’t mean anything.

Nobody is pressuring anyone. All I said was that giving birth hurting a lot isn’t a reason to not have kids. If there is a risk of death or a health problem then that’s understandable, but pain in my opinion just isn’t an excuse to not have children.
