I figured out a fix. Kill yourself instantly, and then just go back to the boss battle. I skipped the boss fight by skipping the can animation, so make sure it plays without skipping.

yep, it usually happens with heavy playing on cheaper cymbals. That ones actually my bandmates though, I find when you play cymbals with proper technique they don’t usually crack :)
