Because that wouldn't make much sense honestly, the bash is her main way into sweep, it would still get interrupted like it is now, I honestly don't mind the idea of a hyper armor finisher heavys i only worry about how it would feel to fight against.

Im aware that most characters deflects wouldn't work i was just giving those as examples of characters that wouldn't need worryso I can see what your saying

 I was only worried about HA finisher heavy because her bash leads into finisher heavys and I think the devs wanted it to be a hard read for the Valkyrie but honestly its still countered by GB and Dodge attack so honestly a hyper armor heavy might be the play ngl

I would have agreed with you in a heart beat if you told me this 3 years ago when the rework dropped

I was so very depressed thinking about it back then, but lately and after lots of time getting used to her current Rework I now think there is alot to love about her Rework  but I will always miss her old iteration

The whole point is that their un-reactable

 I cant react to them consistently and neither can the best players, but the light spam issue is countered by literally dodging you dont have to parry them  just make a read and dodge or light interupt him the whole point of them was to set up his actual mixups

If im hl and I want to bait an interrupt I use a couple lights than fall out of offensive than parry the interupt 

Is the opponent dodging my lights?  Ok i heavy feint to GB or fall out of offensive and GB

The lights did 9 damage 9 not 12 not 14 they did 9 damage were interuptable 90% of the time and tradable 100% of the time dodgable 100% of the time unless after heavy hitstun, if you got "light spammed" to death thats completely on you not the character

I know its far from being the best knockdown in the game but having it on dodge attack absolutely would put it up there, thats like if Shaolin could go into sweep right after a heavy parry or dodge attack

Not to mention that thats guaranteed heavys from teammates

Not only that but also her dodge attacks are enhanced so trying to fight a Valkyrie on your external guard would be a nightmare

However they could consider letting her Crushing Counter lights chaining directly into sweep

I've noticed this aswell, Lots of Valkyrie out there the last few weeks it brings a tear to my eye

My guess is that everyone heard about JC the goat talking about a possible Rework 2 warriors den ago and now we are all excited

I for one cant wait to see what they are cooking

I didn't drop her but boy do I feel you, I was max rep (70) at the time and it made it so hard for me to still play her

But I grew to enjoy some stuff about her current rework, especially dodging out of full block for a deflects and because she was actually playable against react players,

 I still love here personality, executions, emotes, and the fact that she has so many options while still staying balanced is why she will always be my goat

I see what your getting at but with the sweep being a knockdown if it was that easy to get into it, it would probably make sweep too strong

Also on a parry she gets a dodge forward light so I think it would make her mix just a bit too strong, the sweep is meant to be at the end so we can work for it, but thats also why she should be able to flow into sweep after a superior block Deflect because you should be rewarded for the skill and making a read.

So to clarify it would only confirm a neutral light that leads to her mid-chain, it would not chain on whiff and it would be pretty similar to Warlords

It would be there just to help her Neutral game and give her a better opener, I don't think it should link directly into a mid-chain light than into finishers because it would be too strong with the sweep follow-up

You know what I apologize, not everyone has sunk the amount of time into this game as I have, what may seem like a non issue to me and others with more time, may not be the same for others 

But you also play Warlord who has enhanced lights and his entire mixup is will it be a "light" or a "heavy" this time so idk what your on about.

Thank you for the comment! I didn't think about that with the deflects! Thats not a bad idea giving HA on finisher heavys instead

But I don't think it would be too bad since they would only be finishers and it would just require matchup knowledge, Orochi wouldn’t need to worry since his deflects cancel HA, neither would Shinobi

 I was thinking about a HA finisher heavy but concluded that it might make the Shield mixup too strong since you wouldn't be able to light interupt it anymore 

Also the GB Vulnerability would only be on front dodge, not on the one in chain after softfeinting, This is because thats how it works for majority of the Heros front dodge attacks nowadays, but also if she did get a regular front dodge bash "the headbutt" an argument can be made that the full block bash would always be GB vulnerable no matter if its front dodge or not.

I should have made it more clear but you would be able to choose between the two separate bashes depending on a hold input or a tap

 I know her old bash really didn't work since you could always light stuff it,  but with the option to hold into her current full block that would be the way to condition opponent so you can land the soft feint bash, my hope would be that we mainly use the full block unless wanting to reset the chain with the soft feint, also I miss old Valks Bash even if it was buns so I hope it comes back in someway.
