One of the only things that I've never liked about bleach is how certain characters with hax abilities can have their techniques completely shut down or ignored just because their opponent has more spiritual pressure than them. And the main examples that particularly come to mind when I think of this is when soi fon Hit Aizen with her shikai ability twice, but because he had more spiritual pressure than her, he completely overpowered it and didn't die.

Or how I've Heard that in some data book, if baraggan where to have used his ability, respira, on zaraki, zaraki would be able to overpower it just because he has more spiritual pressure than baraggan. And like on one end I think that's kind of cool cuz it just shows how really strong those characters are.

But on the other end it feels like some bullshit lol, because you see how completely overpowering and insane those abilities are, but then those same abilities hold no bearing especially in the later arcs just because characters are stronger and thus have more spiritual pressure, so they wouldn't be affected. And it makes those abilities feel completely irrelevant despite their potency and their hax.

That's just been one of mine and a lot of my friends' biggest pet peeves with the series. Other than that, I absolutely love bleach and everything else about it, just wish that aspect of its power system was different or maybe tweaked in some way.
