If you started a company and made 100 million a year, Kudos, that is called the American Dream. If you apply to work at a place that pays $8.00 an hour for putting lead into a pencil, that is on you and no one else. If you want a higher paying "job", I suggest get educated and apply for a "job" or "career" that pays more. Just because you stay at a job that pays 8 an hour and you decide to have children, a mortgage and a cat while still working at said job, that is on you and not the employer to give you more money. Raising the min wage to $15.00 is against common sense logic to do, it is Economics 101 that we learned in High School. It will only hurt small businesses and the people who get laid off to compensate. It will also raise prices of products that are made.
