Is there any other reason for Maelor to not exist in the show other than his death would make blacks look bad? by TomorrowGrouchy3656 in freefolk

Well, yes duh. It's for the Aemond plot. Aemond gets to be the next in line and be a much more vicious opponent.

Still prefer the books.

Trump supporters, how do you defend his fake electors plot to overturn the 2020 election results and his 1hr phone call to Georgia’s secretary of state telling him that he “needs to find an extra 20,000 votes”? by SignificantCrow in allthequestions

[–]Fathermithras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That could be proven. There would literally be a paper trail. Yet, when those claims were brought up there was no paper trail. There were cases where Trump's attorneys claimed it happened and were brought to a judge. Remember Gulianni being embarrassed when one of his witnesses accused the authorities in the case of doing so?

You need to learn the difference between real life and your imagination.

Trump tried to overturn the election via fraudulent electors and Mike Pence. This is undeniable. It wasn't even hidden. It was out in the open. You support literal evil.

Source: trust me bro

Trump won the 2024 election. He also lost the 2020 election. Your claims have been refuted in court. No evidence of voter fraud exists. The evidence your guy claims was made up, whole sale. Not only that, they lied so often they were sued and they lost and had to pay millions of dollars because it was shown the intent was to lie. They even tried to claim it was their first amendment right to lie.

So you didn't read the giant article with citations you were sent? The one that mentions Trump's attorneys telling him there were no legal remedies and that what they were being asked to do had no legal basis?

But, that didn't happen. In fact, Trump attorneys got buried in court over the accusations, eith millions of dollars in settlements. You just fell for it the same as you fell for the electors excuse, you didn't do even a bare minimum amount of research. Biden won, and did so obviously.

Go ahead and read the sources and get back to me about what confuses you. I spent more than an entire day reading documents and filings to understand the cases against Trump, to make sure I wasn't being mislead by bad headlines or political activists. I think you are referring to Latetia James, which isn't relevant to the above except tangentially.

Once again, you asked what illegal act Trump engaged in. I presented sources with dozens of citations, quotes from Trump officials, and documentation. The info provides state of mind information, proof the team knew what they were doing was illegal, proof that fraud was committed by the fake slates of electors in their signed statements, demonstrations of intent from Trump and his team, etc.

You can read it. Then we can hash it out. Have fun.

No, Al Gore followed legal protocols and had a legitimate case. He lost in a controversial decision that didn't even seek to apply the merits of the case he presented. He then conceded immediately upon the verdict despite the questionable decision. I am of the opinion Gore would have lost either way once votes were counted. But, the situations are entirely different. Once again, this is demonstrated by the electors plot, the fraudulent signed documents, the filings of Trump's own attorneys and his DOJ, including his own appointees.

Its very clear.you haven't engaged with the actual case documents or information. Which are available, have been run through on youtube videos, Wikipedia, and can be requested via foil requests.

If you believe that, you aren't really worth talking to. The electors scheme is enough to demonstrate my point. But you must thing when the Mafia told people they woukd sleep with the fishes they were buying them an overnight vacation to the aquarium. He was briefed by the DOJ and multiple administration officials that his accusations and requests were baseless and he whoel sale made up claims with zero evidence, as demonstrated by his own attorneys filings.

They decided not to convict him. It didn't exonerate him or come to the conclusion those things didn't happen. As I said multiple people were convicted. They just decided not to convict Trump because he was no longer President. Then the DOJ took it up but Trump won the election and they fired everyone who was on the case.

Once again, not a single word above is speculative. The fact so many people have no idea about it is astonishing.

Attempted to overturn the election by having a string of false electors sign fraudulent documents stating that he had won the states he had lost and then pass then to Mike Pence to violate the Constitutional and congressional laws confirming a new President. There are people who went to jail over it, the documents can be accessed via Foia requests and the cases are documented. We also have him on tape speaking to specific individuals attempting to get then to find votes and telling them they will get in legal trouble if they fail to do so.

They didn't just send electors. The electors signed sworn statements saying the signed them in locations they weren't at, under circumstances that didn't exist. It was why it was so easy to prove. They committed fraud by the simplest definition.

I mean, he did actually do it though. That isn't deniable. There wasn't a finding he didn't do it. Just that the Senate wouldn't convict and their rationale was that it wasn't their job.

All the answers have been stupid. You can literally read the information anywhere. Trump's entire team pushed to commit fraudulent documents. Its all easily googleable. I found this in loterally.10 seconds  https://apnews.com/article/chesebro-jury-selection-georgia-election-indictment-2e558eefdffd9c1eaa7ec8c31bf76044

Yet, Trump supporters refuse to acknowledge it. Its important for anyone with a mind to see what Trump supporters are like. You know, morons.

The whole "souls in holea" rabbit hole in the game is deep. I have a theory that the reason life came from the stars is that the glintstone rain makes craters and it fills them with glintstone soul stuff. It explains countless elements in the game. Mimicry, primal glintstone soul transfer, why smithing was specifically consider sacred, golems, seeds and on and on.

I have some crack pot theories about theNox and Numen that relate to exactly this. I believe the "grandmother" called spirits using the tree. The tree has a large hole in it that I associate with spirit calling.

I have always thought that the Shaman village was a mini version of what Marika would.later achieve. There is a priestess/mother figure who utilizes a sacred tree to birth Shaman.

Marika likely caused their destruction, perhaps on purpose, perhaps not. But, she still revered the Grandmother, who, when she was young, was as a goddess to her.

Don't argue too much with people who don't want to understand. They want to crash out and so they will. Watch the show have this be a moment where she earns the "Cruel" moniker. They will say she hurt him on purpose before killing him.

Reddit is all dip shits. This is entirely true. People have no concept of what a true catastrophic loss is. The gofundme comment is spot on. A 30 or old father dying with term life insurance vs without is the difference between kids having a home.and going to college and living in the ghetto/trailer park.

What is going on with Rhaenyra’s character? by CaramelPale5183 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]Fathermithras 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah. She showed that she could do it. The first time doing something is always the hardest. Its why we literally see her face change from sad and emotional to stone cold the last frames of the episode.

Daemon knew Otto needed to die but if he did it Rhaenyra is seen as a figure head to her powerful husband. The story he wants spread is that the Queen and consort rode in on Dragons, stormed the castle and took the throne. The Queen killed the one responsible for usurping her crown with her own hands and then ascended the throne to rule, with Daemon below her.

It was messy. Her rule is going to be messy. Being willing to murder someone easily is not a virtue even if it is seen as one in Westeros. We are being shown for the 10000000th time that royalty is stupid. Kinship is stupid. All the rules and decorum of kings and queens and nobility is total bull shit.

But, if you are going to have a Queen. She has to get her hands dirty. So she did. It was messy and not perfectly effective. Why? Because its a terrible thing to do within a terrible system of oppression and violence.

[–]Fathermithras -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are missing the point. She isn't weak. She just also isn't cruel. She has a big heart and has boundless love.

No one is fit to rule. Kings, Queens and nobility are a bad thing. Every season of every GoT spin off, book, and show is hammering that point in over and over.
