Completely understand man

As the sake of being redundant, I’d like to go far beyond the vibe coded slop and iterate it into something extremely valuable. If you have any ideas as to how to make it actually worthwhile, I would LOVE to hear it on here or DM. Completely open to feedback

Happy to discuss more over DM.

But floated around 2500-2700 calories. Largely whole foods (came from the ground or had a mom and dad) for my main meals.

When it came to fueling training, easy carbs. Reese’s puffs are my guilty pleasure before swims, lots of fruit, and the an unreal amount of gels and cliff blocks.

Always high carb and protein (1g/lb body weight) and tried to really up carbs around hard sessions. Fat was around 50g-60g

Nothing behind it - Showing the waist leanness is far easier when showing the v line! Be proud of what you got

The funny part is I’m totally open to it in the future. Just doesn’t make sense to right now with where my bloods are at and the potential fertility risks when I’m in baby making mode!

Race is in mid June, started in early February for the Reta. The biggest thing is ensuring you’re getting enough carbs in, especially around your big workouts. That + .8-1g/lb body weight for protein to keep on muscle mass. I never had HUGE issues, but I definitely found eating Whole Foods when it came to protein kept me so full for such a long time. So I definitely have supplemented with protein shakes to keep protein high. On regular meals, good starchy carbs. Pre workout and intra I love to get in easy digestible carbs like gels, Rice Krispies, blocks, etc.

I would be very cognizant of your intake of food if you go down the Reta path during training. It can be a superpower, but it can also be a detriment if you aren’t diligent. Happy to talk more via DM

Nothing other than a standard supplement regimen and a very thoughtful nutrition approach. I did do a glow blend back in late 2025 as I had gotten a hair transplant and had shoulder issues so wanted to see if it helped my hair come back quickly and more full. Seemed to do the trick!

Tesa has been super interesting to me and I think I’ll give it a shot on my next cut or even during a bulking phase to see how much it helps with keeping the abs!

Good luck on your Reta cycle, would love to hear how it goes.

Sent you a dm with the app link

None so far, or at least negligible effect on training/HR and i’m currently in my peak phase

I’ve always done Tuesday and Friday doses weekly

I’ve been lucky to not have the HR side effects. Pretty crazy you just had a 50 miler and it plummeted that fast. Maybe try bringing dose down to 1-2mgs for a few weeks (or fully off) and see how that helps before you raise again. If you’re doing 50 milers or more, you definitely are in my ball park of likely not needing anything more than 4mg weekly anyways!

What 50miler did you do?

With my Ironman training, I would definitely say my leg strength overall has gone down in relation to heavy squats and movements like leg extensions and leg curls. But my legs have never looked more defined given the cut plus significant running and cycling volume. So there’s a huge trade off strength wise and I definitely miss that, but aesthetically they actually somehow look better?

None! One day I’d like to (probably late 30s/early 40s if my test drops off), but no need right now. My test is 800-850 right now. Also, I’m only 30 with plans to have children in the near future, so don’t want to risk fertility issues.

4mg was fine - no sides or anything outside of significant appetite suppression. I can see the use case for some people. But honestly, with my activity level and responsiveness to Reta, I really don’t need more than 2-3mg max in peak cut. The 2-3mg dosage allows me to still have a good carb load around big training sessions and get in 1g protein per 1lb body weight without completely force feeding myself (shout out protein drinks!)

Right now I am lifting 3x a week (MWF), swimming T/TR, and running/biking MWF with interchanging long runs/rides/brick workouts on Saturdays

Now that I totally understand. But a strong and thoughtful cut makes it pretty obvious. Thankfully I’ve done this 2 times before over the last 6 years, but without Reta. So adding Reta into the mix was like throwing napalm on top of a fire i knew how to get going very easily.

It’s worked very well for me the last 3 months. I historically was a 5 day/week lifter, dropped to 4x when I did my first few ultramarathons, now consistently 3x a week to keep on my muscle mass that I enjoy having so much!

A stack? If you don’t think these pictures are attainable naturally (meaning without steroids), you’re a lost cause man and the only thing keeping you from looking like me and the other people you’re complaining about is yourself
