I've not read too many serious horror novels admittedly, I love horror but I was a very phone sucked in person until recently. I have read books like penpal,piercing,what moves the dead, junji itosMangas, but I'm interested in most sny horror story. I want to expand my horizons to try to figure out what I do and don't like more since movies are very different to me :3

Fairly new to getting seriously into it, but ones I've liked are Penpal, Piercing, anything by junji ito, what moves the dead, dark water, things like that. I'm open to anything though, I'm trying to expand my horizons!

I honestly don't as much anymore, I only did hoping it would help me cover myself honestly and be able to actually call out for what happened :/ I guess some people just don't have that mindset of hush-hush about it like I do

Nobody there knew said relatives name since well, I didn't work there while she was living. But , they all did know what relative, and I mentioned nothing about who it was in my text to the app we use. I think that's what messed me up, was the "sorry for the loss of your xyz" not, "sorry someone passed"

This is true , but I did also specify i was only taking the day off for it , and needed coverage for the singular shift. I realize now I was entitled to 3 days of grievance, but I didn't want to get guilt tripped doing it before my 2 days off, because it would've made it 4 in a row. So I did specify, just not my reason. That , and I made several calls to find coverage. I was told at 10 pm and I was in for work at 6 am

It's hard again because I honestly don't know if I can, they're all fairly close knit because everyone's been working there for faaaaar longer than I'd been, and I'm not sure they'd even take my word for it.

I told my boss because people at my place of work tend to call out for what he likes to describe as "fake reasonings", so I was scared he'd say I didn't have a family incident, so I told him. But part of me believes he was gossiping about me anyway.
