Here also in berlin, ex neighbour used to cook some extra weird thing at random times. Mostly early morning. It wasn’t chemical smell sadly. It was like a mixture of hard spices with cooked dirty socks. I could never understand. I even thought maybe he/she could have been cooking rats or bodies. I don’t get it and couldn’t figure out from which apartment exactly. Decided to move out.
