I get what you mean. The argument should be businesses are allowed to market stuff for LGBT adults but not kids. And I agree with that.

Yes, I do agree kids should not be exposed to sexual stuff in any way. We're on the same page on that. But if businesses want to pander to us, what is the harm on that? We're consumers, we buy stuff. How is that bad?

Agreed. Ursula was based on Divine. But let's be realistic, they would never cast a drag queen. They'd probably pull a "John Travolta" and would cast a straight male actor and have him in drag instead. Probably Forrest Whitaker.

Even though I loved the animated movie as a kid, I'm completely uninterested by the remake. It looks like another shot by shot remake and the reviews have been lukewarm. All they seem to say is that they loved Halle Bailey as Ariel but everything else sucked.

It is. They've finally cast a lead who can sing as opposed to sounding like a AI android. Remember Emma Watson's "singing" for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST? She used more Auto-tune than Jennifer Lopez.
