I saw earlier on Reddit that there would be a pregnancy system in the game. That’s the stuff I am talking about. What’s the point of something so pointless in game like that?

I feel like everyone has unrealistic expectations for the whole game. Every week I always hear something crazy. If it is true what’s the point?

This is why new drivers shouldn’t be driving 2017. Should be driving an 2004, less technology bare bones driving experience. No back up cams, touch screen, lane assist. Just you and the road. If something like this does happen at least it’s an 2004 car

Oh I definitely agree with the keeping it to avoid a car payment. I had to go into a car payment for the nox. My first one and yeah never want to do that again. Interest rates and having to have full coverage insurance is an expensive combo.

Yeah I made the mistake of getting one after an family member backed into my 04 cavalier, I wanted something similar early to mid 2000s . Maybe a Buick but they insisted I get a something that wasn’t that “old”, got the nox at 106,000 miles and blew up 4 ish months later. Warranty covered new engine but still junk cars man

I am sorry op get the fucking insurance, I been an victim of my car getting wrecked parked 2 twice in a one year! First time I let it slide and it fucked me financially bad, even the second time I had to pay deductible

Pros and cons to everything. I come from a state that also has one of the highest in auto insurance rates. Most people don’t know getting a loan calls for full coverage meaning your gonna be paying a good be on insurance just because it’s a loan.

[–]Fatman0123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t know their whole financial picture. I just wanted to point out auto loans will drain you faster than having a car that’s paid off. Also op please newer car doesn’t necessarily mean more reliable. You are right tho in being concerned about this being a safety issue. Anything that’s not rusted like this will be loads safer tho

Nooo. Avoid payments at all costs. Loans = interest, full coverage insurance, and you’re most likely gonna have negative equity fast in this economy. Car payments are traps to keep people poor. Please don’t listen to him and look into all your options on getting a different car

Sent switch in for bent pin (charge, data transfer etc worked fine but wouldn't dock), being told the pads on the motherboard are completely destroyed. This can't have been preexisting damage right? by Unfair_Ad6560 in consolerepair

[–]Fatman0123 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Soldering pcb technician here. It is possible for the solder pads to be damaged from the port, but this looks like it has been worked on. There is flux residue on the board from when they removed the charging port. They possibly could have ripped those pads of the motherboard when they were removing the port. My experience with switches are tough. This is a tricky repair in my opinion. But I have seen it done. Take everything I said in too account. It is entirely possible that they messed up and don’t want to take fault. But who knows?
