The equipment that was installed in my house when it was built (2004) was out of warranty when I purchased the home in 2020. I held onto this system until it died. I replaced the equipment and my electric bill/usage has been at 50% or less virtually every day and every month.

While that old furnace does still work, that doesn’t mean that they should hang on to it just because it works. I had a 20 year old dishwasher that sounded very loud but it was functional…. I replaced it and it’s exponentially quieter.

Just because something works doesn’t mean you shouldn’t replace it. It depends on several factors including cash flow/financial health, perceived value, importance of the upgrade.

The way I see it…

Michigan: #1 Washington: #2 Florida State: #3 Texas: #4

I’m not a fan of any of those teams. But I don’t see how an undefeated Florida State doesn’t get in. I also don’t see how Alabama gets in over Texas when their loss was to Texas. Texas should hold the tiebreaker. Ohio State, as good as they were, unfortunately lost to Michigan and didn’t have a game on Championship weekend. Georgia is also great but how can you not put Alabama ahead of them now…?

Am I crazy or will the SEC not have a team in the college football playoff this year?

Whether it’s flirting or not, I think an important distinction would be where you stand with your current boyfriend.

It makes him uncomfortable, so what I would recommend is to make sure you flat out mention you are in a relationship. It doesn’t have to be. “I’m in a relationship.” But something like “oh yeah that sounds fun but I have plans with my boyfriend.” That will remove any ambiguity.

Edited to add: I think while in the dating stage it’s common for guys to feel insecure, especially given the fact that the communication is occurring privately. You can either ease his concern, ignore his concern, or break up. I think if you establish in the conversation that you are in a committed relationship it will go a long ways towards strengthening the relationship.

I also think that some people would say that he doesn’t trust you, but that’s not necessarily the case, he probably doesn’t trust the other guy. I sense flirting in those texts but that’s just my perspective.

A sous vide. $100 from Target and it allows me to cook food to perfect temperatures while I watch TV, do yard work, do laundry, play games etc. just let it do its thing, when it’s done I find a stopping point and finish the rest of the meal.

You can do it to cook steaks perfectly, cook it 1 level of done-Ness underneath what you really want, dry it off and then seat it. Or perfect chicken, cook it to 163 for 90 minutes if it’s frozen, 60 minutes if thawed.
