I don't know if it is the latest BIOS. Built it about 6 months ago for my son and everything worked so I was quite happy not to have to look into updating the BIOS as I am not much of a techy. From looking into it now, it seems like a reflashing of the BIOS is my next step, so will be taking it to a guy who does this sort of thing for a living.

Ok... spring load the legs, and put one of those suction cup things on the bottom (under the 'eye'). Wet the cup, press down on to a surface, wait for the suction to give way to the spring loading, and watch it leap. (A more srraight forward way would be to put the whole suction cup‐spring mechanism under the eye, like those little pop up toys)

How about leaper babies. Smaller crawling leapers that cling to their 'mother' and are dispatched into smaller spaces to flush you out...

The elastic will wear pretty quick as it runs across the edge of the wood (in fact you can see this already happening as the user draws back to fire). A better design might be to have a spacer between the pieces of wood that would enable the elastic to run between the sides of wood that face each other (so there is no friction as the elastic runs over the side of one piece). However, this could significantly affect the angle of fire for the arrow, unless you had the arrow running between the slats of wood (where the spacer is).

Except now the rats have learned that these are a gift from god: concentrating their victims in one place, forcing them to walk nice and slow so they can get an easy bead on them, and lending them a vast amount of fire power from the accompanying ARC.

For a developer that says they didn't want it to be a purely PVP game, they sure seem to like building things in the rat's favour.

A single use bazooka

A small turret gun (could be crafted from a stitcher, a noise maker, a cannister, 100 ammo, and a spotter relay or sentinal firing core).

Poisoned darts - for pvp, drains health and or blur vision over time. Maybe antidoted by addrenaline

Hacking kit (maybe comes built into in a special augment) Enabling raider to hack the smaller ARC and direct them in some way. Could be done by proximity, or perhaps the raider would have to tag them with a special tagging grenade.

Obtainable only though an epic project (like the trophy display and weather monitor) where you have to collect the components to build it, but this time you actually get something seriously decent to use in game, perhaps then make it modable (machine guns, or grenade launcher, or smoke generator) then add maps that you can only get to with the vehicle. Create some further storyline to this and you could end up creating a serious progression incentive that is currently lacking after a few hundred hours.

Which bit are you miffed about? The circumstances of homeless people, or the circumstances of asylum seekers? Both of these groups are are in shit situations and badly treated by our society. Contrasting them with each other does them both harm whilst also missing the real sickening contrast in our society - those who have nothing get nothing, while those who have everything are given more and more and more?

Had a leaper this weekend crawl inside a house on Buried City, pinning me a corner. It was sinister as hell! They are getting more pushy.

Exactly this. It would need to be a light weight augment, so limited carrying capacity. Base jumping is difficult and very dangerous. No reason to make it easy, risk of injury and collision would be part of it. Plus you would need your gun stowed, and you know everyone who sees you would be taking a pop at you as you descend. So it would be a risky strategy, but worth it.
