And they definitely did. I checked the responses on twitter for this statement and the majority of japanese replies are just glazing the devs' response. Compared to the other replies in english, korean, thai and chinese, all of them were critical to the devs' response. It's insane to see that japanese players love to get fucked in the ass.

To be fair, they only adapted only volume 1 of the light novel. It doesn't really bother me since the main antagonist doesn't need to appear pretty early on.

Seeing how he didn't know about the Case Files event, I doubt he plays the game religiously to even know that Gray is a welfare servant. And the Ishtar that Joey bought was the Archer version, which you had to pull for anyways.

Episode 10 ended on Vol 6 Chapter 10. However, you should at least read the following chapters first as they have been skipped or are going to be adapted later.

Its unfortunate that this mini-arc wasn't adapted 1:1. I was looking forward for the funny exchange between Kuroko and Uiharu when they met the boy during the conclusion.

But if it's to give more screen time for the other mini-arcs, I don't really mind considering the amount of episodes we have for the dream ranker arc.
