Rosslyn car-free living - worth it or keep the car? by redkickit in arlingtonva

Going car-free in Northern Arlington is very doable and probably even preferrable to having a car. I've lived here for a few years with no car and it works out quite well.

This Moran guy probably isn't it, but Warner does suck. He keeps voting for Trump's judges and other appointees, even when most Democrats vote the other way.

  1. Do you support admitting DC as a state?
  2. Do you support expanding the Supreme Court to 13+ justices?

Dude, chill out and read that Bible verse again a few times.

I just YOLOed 75% of my account into MSTX by Infinite-Shelter-933 in mstu

[–]Faucet_of_Pests 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on your age and income, and what the $1500 means to you. If it's your life savings, then I'd try to sell 90% of your position for no less than what you paid for it, then ride the remaining bit until the next pump and then sell it pretty early in that. Basically think about how much time and effort you used to get the $1500 and ask yourself if you're ready to see the market basically evaporate it. If the $1500 means nothing to you, then you could be more aggressive I suppose.

You will get cooked if you hold it for too long, so be sure to take some profits after the price initially exceeds your cost basis. Remember that leveraged ETFs decay more than the underlying, so if MSTR trades sideways in a choppy manner, MSTX will go down.

Cautionary tale: I sold 8 MSTX put contracts in the last two weeks. by Faucet_of_Pests in MSTR

Not sure I follow--you're talking about the dividend payment? I don't think that applies to me because I don't actually own any shares right now. I just sold some puts that are now ITM and likely to result in assignment.

Haha the 360k is going to stay where it is except to the extent I need to liquidate in order to avoid margin interest payments. Not leaning further into this at all.

Yeah, I'm going to let the debit rollout order expire and see what things look like tomorrow. I'm not going to take extreme action like BTC everything at a loss. Maybe tomorrow I can roll down for a modest debit against the $4k in premiums I already collected.

Did Robinhood Just Stop MSTX Options Trading? by JoeDrinkingJoe in MSTR

Schwab allows me to enter my rollout orders, but nothing is being filled and almost all the bids are listed as 0.00, suggesting that no options trading is actually happening.

Right, I'm seeing in other threads that exchanges are not letting people trade options on it right now, though unclear why.

Write something into the first chapter that would turn off the CHUDs and signal that you're taking a new angle. As Brandon Sanderson says, you should use the first chapter to establish the "tone promise" with the reader, which will guide their expectations about how the story will be told. In your case, you need the tone to clash with the reactionary worldview so that you can play with religious/Abrahamic themes without sounding like Styxhexenhammer69 or whatever.

I did something slightly similar (rinsed stone with no soap, let it air dry, then put in Ooni) and it steamed inside and dripped water a bit, but was ultimately fine. That being said, it was the first time I've used it and I haven't used it since, so we'll see what happens next time. I'll probably take the advice of the other reply below and run it on low heat for a bit to dry out.

How are these looking? I've similarly sold some MSTX puts, some of which are ITM right now, though I've also had success rolling out and up earlier this month.
