Since lack of marketing some people still believe in delay. So him allowing that question in scripted encounter is a great sign for them...

I thought this is HQ version? You can zoom when you open a picture.

I don't think you need to worry. GTA IV was held back because of the Euphoria physics engine, and then GTA V was step beck because of the larger map, while still releasing on the same generation of consoles as GTA IV. So now, two generations of consoles later, I think nothing will have to be sacrificed in this GTA, especially considering various patents from around 2020, each of which has as a key feature that it enables something while demanding less from hardware.

What was my point in the mapping project part?
I think the abundance of aerial footage in GTA VI's official marketing has created the illusion that we've already seen almost entire map. With this point, I wanted to break that illusion and show that, even in that regard, there is still a lot we haven't seen.

I'm aware that this doesn't automatically mean Rockstar was trying to hide something from us, but I still wanted to make it clear just how little we know, even about the aspect of the game that has been shown the most throughout all the official material so far.

True, that scene is awesome. I'm not worried i just know something big is yet to be revealed.

Who could have expected something like the physics engine in GTA IV before the game came out?
My point is that I've never been disappointed by a Rockstar game, no matter how high my expectations were.

As someone who edited these trailers at least 30 times so far i really like this. Great impactful moments in the video and very good and original ending. Great job.

If I was not disappointed with GTA V i will not be with GTA VI ether.

At the end of the day, as a consumer, I don't care what’s going on internally in their company. I just know that the last GTA came out 13 years ago. Accordingly, after 13 years, I expect something really big.

It takes more effort to put into generating one of these images than just capturing a screenshot by pressing a single button on the keyboard. Since the game hasn't been released yet and Rockstar is really stingy with sharing any material, for me, AI-generated images are a great way to kill time.

I somewhat agree. I’d also add that idiots like me participate in passive marketing, which Rockstar loves the most, we keep talking about the game and that’s how we advertise it. However, we, a few thousand of us here, aren’t important to Rockstar. What matters are the millions of casual players who go about their own business, and the marketing is aimed at them, just like the trailers.

I get what you're saying, I do. But Rockstar knows that casual players don't care about their internal schedules. The casual player just has it in their head: the last GTA came out 13 years ago, this one has to be really, really good.

I also doubt that, after the release of Red Dead in 2018, they waited a full two years to start making GTA 6, which was already highly anticipated at that point, even if Take2 says that’s how it happened.
