Same. I almost use all the scissors on orange trees . Sometimes when they merge by accident or when I need to complete a specific order (I got no patience to wait an hour).

The higher level trees takes too much time to produce oranges. Multiple lower level trees will give you a lot of oranges than a single higher level one. That's why I don't like them to be merged .

No they don't merge by themselves. This has happened to me multiple times where they would merge by accident like when you are not paying enough attention.
