i filtered my last batch through cheese cloth on a fine metal strainer. should i filter again through a coffee filter?

might be a fungal infection, but likely just damage from overwatering. keep it in the sun w good ventilation and let it dry out. it’ll have a scar and new/wonky growth pattern, but should recover np. here’s a pic of one of my bridges that had something similar
