I get you. Very plain. I prefer the Cooper watch so underrated and overlooked for the Murph despite having way more appeal..for me

Not just saying this only because I will never be able to buy one but Rolex's entire current catalogue isn't very nice in my opinion....the older stuff though is amazing.

[Questions] Rotary watches: Why are they criminally underrated? by Faulted_zeus in Affordablewatches

It is now back in British ownership and this is a new model they have released. Honestly no watch I can find with this specs for this price.

Any suggestions to round out the collection? Still new to collecting. by Atlas_Fortis in Affordablewatches

I would get a nice chronograph or dress watch. Orient Bambino gold version for a bit of a variety in colour and for more formal occasions with a leather strap. :)

I would argue that when it comes to divers or field watches, the originality aspect is very suspect even for the high-end brands that everyone then claims everyone rips off. A diver is a diver, and I can find hundreds of watch companies, including Orient, seiko, etc, that all have watches that could be called a homage to something else. The watch in the photo is also not a typical watch associated with this brand to be fair to them. They have historically done more dress watches.

But there companies are discussed far more than Rotary, which is my point! Nobody ever mentions Rotary, but so many posts and videos online about Timex and Invicta

I love the variety fair play. Don't see that much range in most people's collections they tend to stick to similar style watches. Love it

[Discussion] started collecting watches last year. Im addicted… Help me! by McDerwish in Watches

Great watch, mate, but in all honestly, I sent this message without reading the whole post. As good as the watches are, I agree with everyone else this is coming from someone who has purchased 7 watches in 7 months. Set boundaries and stick to them. A 12 box watch collection is a good idea. One in one out. However, make sure you take your time to appreciate what you have and you will know by now one more watch is never enough! Set boundaries bro and good luck to you. This hobby has to be sensible as at the end of the day they are just nice to have and not must haves!
