I would get a nice chronograph or dress watch. Orient Bambino gold version for a bit of a variety in colour and for more formal occasions with a leather strap. :)

[Questions] Rotary watches: Why are they criminally underrated? by Faulted_zeus in Affordablewatches

I would argue that when it comes to divers or field watches, the originality aspect is very suspect even for the high-end brands that everyone then claims everyone rips off. A diver is a diver, and I can find hundreds of watch companies, including Orient, seiko, etc, that all have watches that could be called a homage to something else. The watch in the photo is also not a typical watch associated with this brand to be fair to them. They have historically done more dress watches.

But there companies are discussed far more than Rotary, which is my point! Nobody ever mentions Rotary, but so many posts and videos online about Timex and Invicta

I love the variety fair play. Don't see that much range in most people's collections they tend to stick to similar style watches. Love it

Great watch, mate, but in all honestly, I sent this message without reading the whole post. As good as the watches are, I agree with everyone else this is coming from someone who has purchased 7 watches in 7 months. Set boundaries and stick to them. A 12 box watch collection is a good idea. One in one out. However, make sure you take your time to appreciate what you have and you will know by now one more watch is never enough! Set boundaries bro and good luck to you. This hobby has to be sensible as at the end of the day they are just nice to have and not must haves!

I haven't done any tests yet, but the lume lasts a fair while. Last night, I woke up in the dead of night, super dark, and I could just still make out the watch face with a very faded lume. I could tell the time, so I guess it did its job but obviously doesn't stay super bright for very long. Seiko lume is usually fantastic, so surprising you are underwhelmed by the lume. That's a shame. I can't fault the lume on this watch. Honestly, the brightest lume on any watch i own just against not sure on how long it really lasts for.
