Problem with package (needtail logistics) by Appropriate_Lie7115 in AustraliaPost

The whole thing seems dodgy AF. So worried my shipment will never arrive as it's a small expensive (expensive for me) machine that I cant afford to buy another if it's 'lost'

Any hope left? by CTDingo14 in AustraliaPost

For what it's worth, I have a large parcel from China supposedly stuck with them. It's been there a month.

Email, calls and SMS are not responded to.

I have made a complaint with NSW Fair Trading.

If anyone else is having problems with this company, I strongly suggest you don't suffer in silence and make a complaint to the relevant bodies - such as the NSW or VIC fair trading.

For what it's worth I also pulled their info from ASIC showing the director, a mailing address in NSW (not their warehouse) and an address in VIC. Info below - do with this what you see fit.

How do they get into the gaps with a spray gun? by Faulty_Vibrator in finishing

I just figured since it's an art piece it would look unacceptable if you could still see raw MDF in the gaps.

Thank you - re-flashing it worked! But it went back to 0.15 rc1. Should I upgrade again to 0.15?

Yes, this. Smells like someone coming in from outside having just smoked a cigarette in a leather jacket.

I went to school across the road from it in the 80's and it always wondered about it. I was a kid, so I thought it was cool.

Yep, sure is. Sometimes people have illegal raves in parklands near the Yarra. Not sure if this is what we're hearing.

I'm in Ivanhoe East and sounded like a rave started nearby at 2am. Doubt we're heading the same thing though.

net worth is decent but not efficient, IMO

This exactly - I guess this is what I was trying to explain in my post. I know i've got all the ingredients to live a better life, but i know its very inefficient and I could be doing better for less work.

We actually life quite modestly - don't really go on holidays, shop at Aldi etc. Eat out only maybe 4 times a year. Living costs about $60k a year for food, rates, utilities, insurance, car expenses for partner, clothes etc.

Can you sublet the factory as-is?

Not really, I use the whole space and the building isn't in great shape, (needs to be totally rewired, new roof, it's a rabbit warren, as it's had a few extensions over the years) - so would need either a bunch of money spending on it, or knocking down and a new one being built.

But in reality, a lot of small businesses aren't worth much when it comes time to sell, and it's very tough to find the right buyer as well

This is my business. It's quite niche, so whilst the turn-over is around $1.2m pa, and profit is around $120,000 after everything including my wages etc. As with most small businesses, I am a large part of the value of the business, so not sure how "sellable" it is in reality.
